Had a burger at a cafe Friday night, and they actually asked me if I wanted the tomato (which was listed as an ingredient in the menu) on my burger.

    I said most certainly!

It seems like a very progressive cafe, acknowledging that tomatoes are a bit shit.

Bella Venezia Restaurant in Mooloolaba doing a great job of screwing up a lasagna with unnecessary tomatoes. Look at those disgusting little things.

It could have done without the grassy shit too.

Default Tomatoes: Get out of my food

Golden Harp pub in District 3 of Vienna.
Don't ruin your good burger by putting unlisted toxic tomato on it.

Your chain of try-hard Irish pubs is on the blacklist.

The problem is now spreading to places putting Tomato Sauce on things without even asking.
I go into a Bakery I've never been to before. Ask for something as simple as a sausage roll. I get outside and open bag up to find Sauce has been put on the top, wtf.
I was never asked if I wanted sauce? This tomato bombing of food has to stop.

Imagine the furore if you went back in and complained about your free sauce!

I'm with you on that one though, I love tomatoes but I'm not a fan of tomato sauce - I have bbq on anything if anything.

More sugar with barbecue. What a surprise that you prefer that!

I'll swap you coriander for tomatoes.
Someone needs to start a thread about that Devil's Weed sneaking into dishes, unlisted on the menu.

Got some beetroot in my salad at the pub, not only did it ruin my salad (lucky my tomato was ok) but the juice also ruined some chips.

    Quote of the thread.

And point taken. Right now I feel like coriander in any of my meals: both unwarranted and unwanted.
