It's actually not an autocorrect, he means his kids are his sex trophies.....I've never heard any refer to their kids as that but that doesn't make it wrong (probably not right either)

Yep raw tomatoes are evil. Tomato sauce is not bad and neither is some cooked tomatoes.

I read this as you both had net 70, the 12yo was a winner and today's golf prizes were sex trophies.

We usually only get a Pinnacle or a Srixon Distance for net 70.

We were 2 up after 3 square after 9 , 2 up after 11 square after 17 . 3 mtr birdie putt on 18 for the win lipped out after it looked in all the way . Down the 19 th partner has 5 net 4 for the win . Only holes he won all day was the first and the 19 th . Final next week and I only have to give 3 and 10 shots so should be lots of fun .

Had a day with solid putting for once. Chipping let me down a little compared to where it normally is, however shot a 74 with 5 birdies for a ridiculous 44 stableford points off 11 for the day with a wipe. Cleaned out A grade and GA now single figures coming down to 8.5.

Amazing what a properly fitted set of clubs can do for scores.

Played R1 of Gold Creek open. It was 30 degrees at 9 this morning, and 39 when we finished 5 hours later.

Off the blacks, with greens running at 12, I made the mistake of birdieing the 1st with a 30 footer across the slope.

    Should have quit then.

Holed a tonne of putts from 5 to 15 foot on the pure greens, but hit it awful most of the day.

85/79, which has me 30something overall last check.

Unfortunately it going to be 38 tomorrow as well, and we tee off an hour later.

Big thanks to Steve57 for the tip-off on this thread. Wife is wondering why I am laughing at my phone.

My multi quote got stuffed so here’s what I remember.

    Okitoki- great to meet you

Lager - you are a flog. I am very curious who is now really confused by a random angry message from Jake.

I’m thinking Larrylong thinks Jake is the second coming of Zig right about now.

    The funk soul brother.

Matt3 - very tidy round. Well done

Sex trophies is a horrendous term, it should never be mentioned again.

38 points for me, although the cap has ballooned to 3.

Highlight was a 35ft bird to finish, which won best gross, took $21 in the money game and got me a good position in the rundown.

Lowlight was missing a 4.5ft Eagle after having an eagle 4 holes prior. Snowballed into 4 putts missed inside 5 feet.

Highlight is that my cap remains on 3. I love shots.

    21/01/18, Mt Compass GC.

Today was my first round since, errrr, I'm not sure. The last comp round was during the Qld Champs in October, and I think I have had a social nine since then. So not much golf, plus foreign clubs, plus an unknown course, meant that expectations were low.

With that stated, it was still a poor start to the round, where I couldn't get the ball in the air, and there were some terrible shots. I switched to a conservative mode (no driver, and often 3 iron of the tee), to make sure I scored okay, and more importantly enjoyed the round.

There were still some shocker shots, but I tidied things up for a much nicer back nine. Shot of the day was probably the trap shot on the last to tap in distance with the OZgolf balcony crowd watching (it was the only decent bunker shot of the day out of 10 or so).

Still no change to the handicap of 6.1; the same handicap since April 2016.

    No unexpected tomatoes today.

    1 birdie, 4 pars, 5 bogeys, 8 others.
    Score: 49-44-93 (Par 36-36-72).
