Played in round 1 of the Gosnell summer cup. Started off well having 17 points on first 9 with 2 wipes. But got scared by my short games and putting. Finished with 14 points..... 31 for the day.

But did managed to meet JC on the course. It's funny how he managed to recognise me by my orange whip and g30 hybrid haha

Played in Beaconhill's summer cup (4bbb matchplay ) we won 4 and 2 , I had to give opponents 10 and 12 shots partner gave them 2 and 4 shots . I played as well as I have in a very long time and partner stepped up most times when I had a bogey. Started bogey , bogey (which is on handicap usually) then played 3rd thru to 11th in - 1 , bogey on 12th stopped the run . This is a board event so its played off the plates . In the semi finals next week

A pretty average 28points for me today. I guess it’s the tale of the occasional chopper - good shots are great but bad shots are where the hurt is.

Medal today and we played in a hurricane! Well not at all really but it was blowing pretty good at times. Was a game of 2 nines. 19 over on the front LOL! and 5 over on the back. Had a million doubles and triples on the front and had 2 triples and 3 birdies and a couple of bogeys on the back. Had a 5 putt for one of the triples on the back nine! What a weird day!!!

37/42 nett 73 in a 3 club breeze with Monsta yesterday. Front 9 was steady with a few very good up and downs making it look better than it was

Back 9 saw a little oil leaked, and I gave 2 shots away with poor selection in the wind.

Put it this way. 17 was 135m into the wind. 6 iron went 130.

18 was down wind. My 9 iron from 165 ended up 20 through the green...

Played comp yesterday at Nudgee, been in average form so wasn’t expecting too much from the round. Started birdie birdie, then ended up shooting a 33 (-2) for the front 9 which I was super happy with. Completely lost touch on the back and didn’t get the ball in the spots I wanted and ended up with a 42. So +4 on the day was good overall, but could have been a lot better.

Didnt set my game on fire..... Finished with 27 points only.

Struggled with every bit of my game... Atleast I'm driving well so can't blame that this time.....

If you don't get there safely it's usually tough to play well.

In hindsight the umbrella was a tad optimistic.
