    Default Iron refinishing in Aus?

Can anyone suggest some places in Aus that do full resto work for irons?

There is a place in the states called tiger nicks, they strip chrome, sand all imperfections, regroove, replate/ finish, then paint fill, and build to spec.

    Any is aus?

I imagine this will be expensive if so.

Thinking of buying a set of original DCIs and getting someone to make them brand new.

Pretty sure Wanlefty only does the black satin finish. He does a great job if that's what you're after but chrome re-finishing is much harder to source. No one in Oz does a good job as far as I know. Even in the US it's harder to find these days.

Wanlefty can do chrome as well as a few other plate options. He has been expanding what he can do as of late.
I had a set of Miuras redone by Kari Lajosi here in Melbourne and i couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I decided to go Copper instead of chrome finish. Contact either of them and you wont be disappointed.

Hey guys - yep I can do refinishing.

Have access to most chrome finishes and also some raw - like black oxide etc.

Shoot me a PM with what you're after and I'll see if I can help.

They’re raw underneath, I’ll take some in the morning though.

Sorry the light isn’t too crash hot. The finish last a while but only came off on the sole and the face. These have been sitting in the spares bag for a while so the raw is really browning up nicely. This is my PW.

That's awesome WL. I've got my eye on a set that may need refinishing so I'll be in touch if I grab them.

They look familiar hope they've been treating you well. I miss my set of 68's, one of the few that Mizuno actually made the right way around for me!

Rich you'd be throwing money away, you'd scrub any finish off within 2 rounds with your cleaning rituals
