Started off with a birdy on the first hole. Ended the day with 40 points of 18 handicap.

I think I could have scored better with my puttings

Good day even though it was windy and wet..... And I even had to wear my woolly vest because it's too cold in summer haha

Crap.My ball striking is at an all time frustrating level.Hit more thin shots than flush, then I hit an absolute flush drive on 12 that hit something on the edge of the fairway and bounced left out of bounds. All in all very frustrating.

Guy at my club had 45 points off +1. Included a bogey in there somewhere too. Some impressive golf.

34 pts 16 / 18 at Beaconhills today , no snap hooks, hit a cracker on the 12 th , first time in ages , sunk a good putt on the first , then shaved the hole all day after that .

I am back in love with golf again. 37 points today is the best score of my last 20.

But it was better than just good. I was cursing the golf gods after 10 holes when I was 7 over despite hitting the ball really well. Then I missed a putt from less than 2 feet for birdie. From that point the golf gods decided they had had their fun and started letting the putts go in. I finished the next 7 one under with 5 one-putts in a row, for a silly breakdown of 15 and 22. At least I'll beat the other 37's on countback.

It was so much fun to hit the ball well after a period of hacking it about.

Golf sucks. 30 points today, my best in 4 rounds since getting down to a daily 6 handicap.

Just making dumb mistakes as I try a few different clubs and shots off a few of the tees. Bad decision making leads to doubles.

Comp winner had 40 pts . Joe played well on the second nine as well so we had a good day. Cap is down to 8.8 , lowest it’s been for a while

Thanks to Grumpy8 for hosting me again today.Played with the Olinda GC out of Beaconhills GC.Had a very ordinary lakes 9.I can't even say it was ball striking as it wasn't to bad, just lack of control and poor putting.Got thru 9 and didn't know what was going on.Poor drive to start the back and I thought it was going to be bad again.Managed to string 5 pars together and a NTP to finish the day with 34 points.13/21 with a little hope. Also picked a membership form

Managed to scrape 36 points today after starting to feel a little average in the gut at the 14th.
No wipes for the game but having way too many now. Go Imodium.

Was a 4BBB Aggregate, we had 70 points, I had 17 pars and 1 birdie, first ever bogie free round I think I have ever had. Fair change from my 25 points last weekend.

Mine came in .4 . You just have to play a few comps , play a bit more regularly and it will come down
