Default Australian Open and PGA 2017

Been watching the telecast for about 10 minutes and I can't believe I'm gonna have to watch knob end with Matt Jones and Cameron Smith. Might have to watch with the sound off too. If Wayne Grady and Ewan Porter weren't bad enough, Pat Welsh is hopeless. He just said Spieths driver doesn't go astray very much! PLEASE!

Anyway, been looking forward to this week. Should be a good tourney. Would love to see Jason Day win it. Would be cool to see Matt Jones win or at least play well again too. Love watching Matt Jones play.

It sure is a nice round for him. Saw his interview after the round and he seems like a good young fella. Can tell he hasn't been in front of a camera much so hopefully the occasion doesn't get to him and he backs it up tomorrow with solid round.

Let's just say I hope he doesn't miss his flight Friday afternoon! 😁

Nice. Always like seeing young players just starting out doing well. I imagine it does their confidence the world of good.

Pretty damn good effort from him too. Hits it about 220 off the tee at best now by the sound of it. Went driver, driver on the first. That's very short for a pro. Just shows you don't need mega distance to score well. Course is over 6500m. He finished -1 didnt he?
