    Default 2017 PGA Tour

Brace yourselves gents and grab another cup of joe - the new season on the US PGA Tour kicks off next week with the Safeway Open from Silverado in Napa, California. This is the first event Tiger is targeting to make his long-awaited return in. And Phil Mickelson is playing the event too. Here's to another season of golf...hopefully one in which J-Day, Scotty and Rory win majors, everyone turns up for the Bay Hill Invitational to honour Arnold Palmer, and Tiger gets a win (any win) somewhere, somehow, someday. Here's the 2017 US PGA Tour Schedule: http://www.pgatour.com/news/2016/06/...e-release.html . Have at it...
    Ping G400 Max 9* w/ KuroKage TiNi Silver 60
    Titleist 917 F2 15* w/ Aldila Rogue Max 75 S
    TaylorMade TP UDI 20* w/ KuroKage 70 S graphite
    Mizuno MP-4 4-PW w/ Project X Rifle 6.0
    SM5 Vokey 50* F Grind & 54* F Grind
    SM6 Vokey 60* S Grind
    Bettinardi Queen B 8

    Bring it on.....

Good to have Tiger back - no, I'm not a fan but h's good for the game. Vey much like the Shark, Jack and Mr Palmer in their day - they get people talking about golf.

After his work at The Ryder Cup, big things ahead for Patrick Reed and keep an eye on Brooks Koepka to win something big.

Unfortunately the Masters usually requires a decent round on Sunday with a bit of pressure on. Not the firemans strong suit.

Skipping the turkish open also. Hoping to be ok for world hero challenge. Reckons his game isn't up to scratch to play on the pga tour atm - That doesn't stop Allenby from having a go now does it

I reckon DJ vs Jordan vs Henrik vs Fatprick Reed will be great this year.

Brooks Koepka will be Top 15 by the end of the year and have a couple of wins on tour.

Do we know which tour Rafa Cabrera Bello will be playing on?

Might see RCB a bit more on the PGA Tour but I'd bet he'll still be primarily a European Tour player. Might play a similar schedule to Sergio perhaps? He probably doesn't putt as well as some others out there so might not fair that well in the putting fest that is the PGA Tour to play it week in week out.

This Tiger Woods shit is a soap opera. Why register to play, then a few days later decide that your short game isn't up to the rigours of a PGA Tour event and withdraw?!?! Unless that was just deflection from some real issue regarding his health. I would like to see him back in action though...

And let's not forget Rory. Hopefully J-Day is in full health for the new season. If it's not J-Day or Scotty tearing it up, I'd love to see Rory rack up a bunch of wins this season.

I agree and the only positive is that he didn't play 18 holes and WD thereby denying a spot to some guy who wants and needs to be in the field.

Did you see the Tweet from that bloke who's got a spot in the Safeway field now that Tiger's withdrawn. Max Homa I think his name is. He said he'll buy Tiger dinner, said "from your biggest fan" etc. He was geeking out. Good on him.
