Default Monday morning 20th Nov 2017 at Kooyonga GC

Currently going by this thread, the following visitors are booked in to play on Monday 20th November:

    Oldracer
    Jimandr
    Peppas
    Slug
    spanner039

3puttpete (Unknown??)....I may have missed it in the main thread, can you please advise?

EDIT: 3puttpete not playing so 6 guests in total.

    Green Fees

Basically TBA until I can confirm current prices. But if it's the same as last year then I can introduce 3 guests at $80 and 2 at $220, so if we have 6 guests then splitting the total that would be roughly $136 each. Possibly $4 comp fee on top, but I'll confirm.

It's a gated course so you may have to use the intercom to get buzzed in but just say you are a guest of Nicks at the tee times below and you'll be fine. If you hang around outside the gate there's usually enough people going through that you can sneak in anyways.

Dress code: http://www.kooyongagolf.com.au/cms/the-club/dress-code/ (Going to be the same as Royal Adelaide basically)

    Tee times: 8:34am and 8:41am

Although unconfirmed (I'll check when the booking sheet is available to me early next week) the Tee off will be from the 1st tee. There is a half way hutt which is available after the 9th, 14th and 17th holes. They have sandwiches, soft drinks and sports drinks available.

We have a table booked for 8 in the bistro area for lunch after the game.

    Menu: http://www.kooyongagolf.com.au/cms/w...WEB%20COPY.pdf

If anyone needs to get away quickly for flights etc, let me know so I can let staff know for a quick meal prep.

Quite a few beers on tap....including the $10 Peroni's which come in those quite impressive mega 500ml(?) glasses

Locker rooms are straight up the ramp from the car park/practice area, going straight on and to your right. Sunscreen/showers and other amenities available there. We also now have a fully calibrated breathaliser in the Men's locker room which is fun to try after a few drinks

Practice range is right next to the car park and from memory it's $6 for a bucket of balls, payable at the pro shop as usual. I think everyone is walking so I've not booked any carts. But let me know if you need one.

Draw for Monday morning at Kooyonga:

    8:34am: ......<Groups TBA>......

    8:41am: ......<Groups TBA>......

Can everyone who wants to go in the Monday comp please forward me their golflink numbers so I can advise the Pro Shop, just makes things flow a bit more smoothly on the day.

Any questions let me know, otherwise enjoy the round everyone! : )

At least we're not UNDER water

Have you re-opened the other nine yet after half your "Royal" Adelaide course was unusable? Rofl.

Ahhh yes, just the way Royal Adelaide GC like their members, silent and your fees supporting the 5% who actually do play more than once a year

Not a problem, I just don't think you will be able to go in the comp without a valid GL #. If you wanted to that is.

Thanks Peppas, Jimandr and Slug for sticking around post Champs and having a hit : ) Fun day, still getting into the VR Pro blades but at 30 points I guess it was ok.

No one really blazed today but Peppas with 33 points was the winner, AGAIN! Great week for this years champ, well done.

Not really sure what happened to spanner39 and Oldracer but next time guys, can you just shoot me a quick message if you aren't playing? I think Oldracer pulled up sick? Not sure other than the message Peppas posted above. Anyways, there's a bit of effort involved with setting these things up and the club was short with tee spots (we only took one tee time in the end rather than two due to pull outs) as there was a GolfSA day today straight after us, so there weren't many tee times left for regular members. If I do a Kooyonga day next year I may ask for deposits.

Thanks for the game guys and special thanks to Chilled for the invitation. Quiet thanks to the Vics for saving us some money. Kooyonga is a really nice course, well worth $80 but not really worth double that.
I will admit that by the end of 5 days of golf I was struggling a bit and I haven't pulled up well. That must be why I hit a 20 metre drive with a divot a foot behind the ball. The putt on the last that went down the tier and 20 feet past on the last will also be quickly erased from the memory bank. I may remember my regulation par on 12 and sand save par on 13 a bit longer.
