I would’ve thought 180 odd would be considered pretty good. From what I saw (missed the last two sessions but it was worth it for Star Wars) he played some glorious strokes.

I am a big Paine fan but was very surprised he found himself in the team; however it was for his batting and he has kept really well and he batted well too - bit rough Smithy declaring when he was on 49 not out!

If your point is that Marsh has done well, I agree. But your list is missing a few

Copied from elsewhere Ben. Their point was how Root and more particularly Cook are going with Marsh and and Cummins thrown in as good and less than flattering comparisons.

Turns out the silent man is the WACA curator.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Let's hope the new stadium uses something more substantial than shade cloth as a cover.

Just read the WACA curator is leaving at the end of the season to be the MCG’s new curator. Sounds perfect as it never rains in Melbourne....

Ashes over and done. Starc with a sore foot. Time to give Sayers a go.

One's broken already, one has 1 ball in him off the long run and one off a couple of steps then he's cooked. I'll have to hold up an end.

Boxing Day test eve has to be the longest day of the year. Sitting around home alone waiting for the cricket tomorrow. At least I’m not the only one, all my friends and family have confirmed they’re doing the same thing.

Bird in for Starc. What does Sayers have to do for a game?

I was a “ b” grade premier at Greg Ritchie’s centre also , but in about 1985 .Also “d”grade premiers at Beenleigh with a team of windaroo golfers in the same year I think

Be better than Stark, Hazelwood, Cummins and Bird (and maybe Pattinson when fit). One day he might do it.

    R U OK?

Sitting around home alone on Christmas Day sucks a bit.

Then again I’m hoping to escape the family drama for a couple of hours for some alone time this arvo myself.

I was. I’d honestly rather be alone in some ways but I don’t really think Christmas Day is the right time for that.

So Bird is the word for tomorrow - no Starc. Hrmmmmmmm can’t wait
