After getting a pinch in a muscle right between the shoulder blades, I half bunted my around the 3rd round of Club Champs.
Couldn't hit a ball past 160m with a limited backswing but managed an 87/74.
Leaves me about 10 shots off the pace

3rd round of Club Champs...was in a seeded group after the first 2 rounds (tied 5th gross, about 7 or 8 clear in the A grade nett) and looked really good at the turn (+2).

But back 9 was torrid. 2 8s and a 7, with D grade bunker play yet again a huge part of that. Plus I think that not having something to eat at the turn was a mistake...energy levels were not there at the end.

Signed off on a 87/77 (nett 75 on the Club Champs cap), and it remains to be seen what happens next week...but clubs will probably go away for a bit during November.

Had a sore left rib section... Funny but made me less overswing. So was hitting my driver very well. Was playing bogey game till I blew 2 holes on the 8 and 9.
    Lost the plot after

Finished with 30 points for the day

3rd and last rd of club champs , 84 nett 71 , hit the ball really well but couldn't put a good score together, had nett 67,71,71in the champs , to win "a " grade nett and the overall nett champ , but no where near the club champ gross , having a putting lesson on Monday so maybe I can get closer to the club champ next year

I started with a double to go wipe, 1, wipe, 1,1 and didn’t improve much until the mid back 9. Stiff and sore back from flying all over the countryside combined with a couple bad breaks just never got any momentum. Course held up well given the rain we have had during the week. That’s the last of my non flagged rounds dropping off before I come into a run of 8 flags out of 9. Anchor here I come.

I have found Berwick's greens are a bit quicker than they look , putting downhill on the 8 th is a lot of fun

37 points today with a wipe today, and a couple of lazy doubles.

6 or my last 7 are flagged, so down to 5.5, .2 off my lowest ever.

I've missed a few par putts for bogey in my time.

Outstanding work KJ. Bad holes and swings happen in champs. Just hold it all together enough next week

Greens were very slow, slightly bumpy, and wet. They need a cut,but it looks like they may have been cored in September and are in the last stage of recovery.

    27 points yesterday.

The niggle between my shoulder blades was a bit better but I think it was putting my shoulder alignment out for putting. Kept missing left.

Have been seeded 4th for the final round of Club Champs next Saturday. Don't think I will get over the line as the bloke coming first is a good 10 shots ahead of the pack.
His first round was in B grade but the rest of his rounds he has played A grade.

Thanks toxic I haven't, still hooking and needing trees to save me , this was Olinda's champs so luckily we played lakes nine and front nine hills , although I had trouble with the lakes par 5 cause I can't get a level stance on the left side of the tee .

The short par 5 up the hill?Just take 5iron, 5 iron, 8 iron and you'd be on

I tried hitting a 2 hybrid and hit it dead straight into the trees on the right ( no draw) still got my par , so will probably try to go hybrid hybrid wedge / short iron

Had our club Open last weekend. Slipped down to C grade after an average few months.

Shot 90, nett 69. Tripled the 3rd and had a Quad on the 9th which would go on to hurt my day as I finished 4th in gross by 2 shots and missed out on nett by 1 shot.

Not bad Feelzy, you must have improved a bit to be disappointed with 90. What are you playing off these days?
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!
