And well done to you too, Dave! Undoubtedly the route taken was less adventurous for you...unless you also hit your 2nd on the 1st hole into water.

Plus whilst Gordonvale has the sugar refinery smell, Richmond has the sound of Hercules aircraft taking off at the nearby Air Force base and the occasional waft of cow poop from an adjacent paddock. I miss that refinery smell...

Finished R4 club champs with a 81/73 to finish 10th overall and 3rd nett.

    Superhappy with this result.

Down to 5.5, but will probably have the next three weekends off golf

Final Round of the BDO Sunday Stableford League and I finished 83/77—31 points.

Given my recent ball striking woes it was good to find the centre of the club face without a weak high cut. Little tweak from the coach on Friday is all it took. Problem was I could bring myself to aim straighter and 5 doubles ensued.

A couple of slaps but was very happy.

A young junior off a legit 31 handicap came roaring out of the pack to shoot 47 points and romp into 3rd overall.

Last round of the BDO Sunday Stableford League with Bushy this arve.

I didn't hit the ball as well as I have been the last few weeks, but still scrambled pretty effectively to 37pts (17/20) with a wipe.

Won a box of NXTs and an umbrella and missed the overall placings by 1 shot.

Well done WB. How did Monsta finish up?

    Good work Courty and Wazamac.

Good to hear your swing is coming back Bushy.

Monsta was 2 off the lead, but went 7 7 4 7 and that was that...

Played at Pacific Golf Club on Saturday in their monthly medal (didn't know it was one until I rocked up). Shot an 80, greens had just been renovated two weeks prior so putting was next to impossible, especially for there as the greens are normally very quick. Couldn't convince myself to hit it firmly, then when I finally did I put it 6 foot past. Overall very good day hitting the ball, didn't put too much thought in to the putting as it's a lottery on cored greens.

17th - Back tee at Boomerang Farm, 176m. The one before it is only 90m but equally as scary.

Nice shooting. Did it have the desired effect?

Handicap hasn't been updated with yesterdays round as yet so still playing the waiting game.

I'm currently off 8.1 and need to be 7.4 to qualify for a couple of the comps here that are being played over the next few months.

We've had some significant rain in the region this week, so the course conditions and smaller field led to the 4BBB Stroke Championship round being postponed and a single stab being played instead (preferred lies, bunkers GUR).

Started with a double on 10 thanks to a chunked chip, and another chunk on 18 to turn with 16pts. Shot -1 around the front for 22pts for 38 total. (75 off 6 - par 71).
