Default 2017 QLD Champs evening arrangements

I've made some arrangements for evening meals (listed below). I'll need to confirm exact numbers with each of the venues as it gets closer, so I'll be confirming with all attendee's which meals they'll be attending.

Thursday night (Traditional Champs pizza night)
    Pizzas from Lush Pizza
We can order them through UberEats or I'm happy to drive over & pick them up. My suggestion is to either eat at the Bay Village if there's a decent common area, or alternatively wander down to the Esplanade and find a vacant picnic table.

    Friday night
I have tentatively booked 12 for 6:30pm at the Waterbar and Grill. It is on the waterfront near the CBD (a short Uber or long walk from the accommodation). The menu is here. The Waterbar is arguably the best steakhouse in Cairns.

    Saturday night
I have tentatively booked 16 for 6:30pm at Mondo's. It is also on the waterfront near the CBD (a short Uber or long walk from the accommodation). The menu is here. Mondo's has a relaxed atmosphere on prime waterfront location.

    Sunday night
I have tentatively booked 16 for 6:30pm at the C0ck & Bull . It is only a block from the accommodation so easily reached for weary travellers legs. The menu is here. C0ck & Bull has long held a reputation for generous-sized pub meals with great value.

I've chosen the Friday & Saturday night venues for proximity to the CBD for nightlife/ nocturnal activities, and bearing in mind the Casino (only a block away) has several huge screens which will have the live footy finals on.

I don't drink beer so I don't even know where they are.

I've figured out where some breweries are, and there is a bar close to the accommodation. I'm all over it.

    Great work Mick.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

For Thursday night pizzas The Esplanade might be the best option. The resort does have a common area around the pool but the Japanese and French speaking guests I have seen so far may not join in.

I saw three different groups having dinner at the picnic tables but none had pizza.
