    MM today. 90/80.
Goal for today was to break the century. Done.

Tomorrow's goal is not to have a snowman like today.

    2 Sep - Monthly Medal - Stroke
    83/66 - Win by 3 shots
    9/14 FWIR
    2/18 GIR
    28 putts
    2 birdie, 6 pars, 6 bogeys, 4 double bogeys

It was a really windy day and I drove the ball well, just couldn't hit the green in regulation, but I chipped in for a birdie and then putted really well (for me)

    Well done Ian.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Played Saturday Club Cup final, after missing the 2nd round, I thought I just get some practice... played 94/74...
then played on Sunday Stableford with a score of 32 points.... after scoring 12 points on the first 5 holes, I went and proceed to blow 3 holes in a row... to finish 14 on first 9 and 18 on back.

On the bright side, I manage to bring my handicap below 20

Had a chipping practice, and was working on the 20M chip with the AW... turned out very helpful during the weekend... I think I found nearly all the bunkers on Sunday, but was glade the sand were fluffier now it is drier... managed to look semi competent out of the bunkers to 1 or 2 putts.

wasn't happy with my iron game on Sunday, and went to driving range, hit 100 balls, found my groove, and went back out and played another 18 holes by myself.... paying the price right now... no longer that young anymore...

Back to my abysmal best today with a massive 20 points.

Not looking forward to the Berri Open in two weeks.

Horrid beginning at a new club I've just joined.

Stableford: 13 points on Front 9, 15 points in the back for 28 points all up. Greens a lot quicker so I managed to 3 putt many of the holes sadly. Wasn't too bad off until the 8th hole and fell apart from there.

Whats even more frustrating lately is my 3 rounds before this have all gone as follows: (All Stablefords)

    1. 10 points on Front 9, 21 points on the Back 9.
    2. 13 points on Front 9, 21 points on the Back 9.
    3. 13 points on Front 9, 23 points on the Back 9.

I just seem to be throwing my rounds away early. If only I could sneak on at 6am and play 9 before I start!!! Oh well! Back next week.
