11/20 with 5 wipes.
1st round in ages.
31 points 12/19 around hilltop today.
Shortgame is MIA, Driver and 3wood are in da house. Putting was ok
Thursday comp at Beaconhills, 26 pts , driver was ok , irons were crap , putting was 💩💩, took a different putter out today sank a nice birdie on 2 and again on 15 but managed two four putts and several three putts in between. Not sure it was a good idea trying a different putter
Snuck out for a hit in the comp at Gordonvale. Played to handicap but with 4 three putts. What could have been? ☹
I can echo Grumpy"s sentiments. Not sure it was a good idea trying a different putter.
Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.
Warm up round for the Berri Open today.
29 degrees and not a breath of wind. Shocking conditions.
29 points.
Estimated 30 degrees tomorrow with 40 kph winds.
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
First home game for a little while after struggling on unfamiliar courses at the Qld Champs. It is supposed to be easier at home, I thought.
After a number of 30 point scores away, I tore up Ballina for a ripper score of 31 points. What is worse about that score is that I didn't miss a fairway off the tee, and holed two bombs for unexpected birdies.
But my approach game just wasn't working, and I kept getting the chips to within 10 feet and missing the putt.
Oh well, there is always next game, and fortunately I'll have an extra shot, with a low flag finally dropping off.

Played with friends at Whaleback public course.
Surprisingly easier to play with a shorter course. But pity was windy and wet day... Hit 89....

75/65 for 40 points
6/10 FW

On fire today! 20pts after 9!
Then i must have done a lot of bad shit like walking under ladders, etc. because I went on to wipe 6 holes and score 6 points on the other 3 for 26.
Handicap - Golfing Journey - WITB coming soon -
I backed up yesterdays 36 with 31pts (16/15). The bounces just didn't go my way today.
First game back after my holiday and the signs are there that my ‘slump’ is nearly over.
14/15 29 points on a glorious Sunday afternoon.
33 points around the North course at Sandhurst this afternoon
Pretty disappointed in course condition. Greens patchy and 2 paced, fairways in really average condition.
Comp at beacy today , 34 pts 16/18 off 12 hcp , drove the ball well 10 of 13 fairways two of the misses were just off the fairway , only 1 of 5 par 3's hit and that was ntp at the time , hit more greens than usual in recent times most misses were on or near the fringes and I three putted every bloody one of them until the 16 th n 17 th . Sam putting lab here I come

26 points for me today. With only two missed fairways and no 3putts. The rest of my game was awful.
