Scotty Cameron Napa real or fake?
So I found this last night and did some research and found that this was a highly faked putter. By looking at the stock photos from the Scotty cameron website it looks to be fake but wanted others opinion.
The face milling looks to be off as well as the head cover. And he fact they are only asking $299 when there on eBay for $750-$1000 tells me something is off. I emailed them asking if it was a remake or real and they assure me it's genuine. Thanks for the help.

Should rename this the "Is it a fake Scotty?" thread.
A bloke at Royal North Haven asked me to have a look at his Newport 2. He bought it for $175.00 a couple of years back and suspects it's a fake.
The headcover was clearly not genuine and it does not have the original grip.
My research indicates it should have a serial number on the shaft - it doesn't.
Any stickers should be on the under side of the shaft. This one only has one (pictured below), and it's on top.
The head as you can see below looks pretty neat and seems to be the right colour. The milling seems pretty good but the weights in the sole are ever so slightly not flush.
I thought I'd post pictures of it to see what others think..

No expert but I'd say fake. The face script seems off and small.

It's a fake. Wrong bumpers (newport shape, not newport 2).
The shoulder shape where the neck connects is also a big giveaway.
