King of the hills

Beaconhills and Olinda golf clubs are holding a 27 hole comp on Friday 29 th of September ( Daniel Andrews day ).
Visitors are welcome $70 golf and buffet lunch lots of prizes etc .8 am shotgun start .
Lowest gross will be named king of the hills ( no cart), players are allowed to use carts but go into different categories,
Nominations open soon ( next week ) details on the clubs web sites

Have decided my back should be good enough to play in this . One of the organisers has told me that they have sponsors in place , good prizes etc , everything is going to script all we need now is about 100 golfers to turn up .
This has been an annual event for many years at Olinda g c , but it's first year at Beaconhills. It's meant to be a test of endurance and golfing ability . 27 holes at beacy will certainly be that as there aren't many dead flat fairways .
8 am shotgun start , lunch is provided , presentation afterwards. Am looking forward to testing myself and getting thru 27 holes ,not looking forward to counting every shot .

I am thinking about it.But unfortunately at the moment I am playing some of the worst golf I ever have.Played the front today at Beacy and had 52,so I was close enough to the car park and did the walk of shame.My last 3 roumds have been the worst .

You play individually and or nominate in a team of 4 , there is a team event as well as the individual events . All four scores are taken in the team event as opposed to plates they usually take best 3 of the four .Only two players from a team are allowed in a group so teams can't play as one group.If you don't have a team don't worry just nominate as a single .I enjoy the 9 that's left is a good test and good reward for good drives . Let me know if you enter
