I would second that , two ozgolf teams , no chocolates . A big thank you to Ben ,Andrew , David and Guy for making the trek up to Beaconhills. Was good to meet Ben and Andrew and to see David and Guy again . Ben absolutely crunched some shots driver 3 iron into the longest par 5 was a great effort . Thanks for making the effort and see you all next year .

that’s a big drive . I had a couple birdies on 3 rd again and 5 th . Hit a good drive on 17 ( for me ) 90 mts to pin second shot to 3 feet missed the putt , typical of my day . Actually the highlight was getting to watch two big kangaroo bucks having a serious box on near the second tee

Guy had 2, maybe 3 birdies, putted beautifully, his driving was poo for first 12 tho, think he had 107nett

I was mister consistent all day.Bogeys on most holes and finishes of 44,44,44.Can't be much more consistent than that.Only 1 up and down,1 birdie and bucket loads of bad putts

That’s a good effort, every time I saw Guy he was playing a second shot not far from the tee , I thought he must have been having a horror round. 98 nett was the lowest I heard . 105 nett was the “a grade “ 111 gross was the koth ( I think ) . If Ben gets a few games in at Beaconhills he would be a big show of winning it .

Playing the 3rd 9 certainly hurt my chances, it's just so tough to come out after a decent lunch and a cold schooner!
Was an enjoyable day though, look forward to playing the course again, definitely a chance to score around there once you know where to miss and the slopes of the greens. Cheers for a good day Ray!

Course needs a month of sun to get the grass growing again.I was up their this arvo and the roos were everywhere, looks like they have bred well and now they are eating all the good grass.

Certainly is,and some of the new drainage work and cart paths have made a difference.Lakes greens seem to running true as well, they have come back from last year's frost.

Got an almost final count last night,127 players.Of that about 50something are non members which is great.Players coming from the peninsula,Warrigal and Drouin area and Elsternwick.Course is looking very good, little bit of grass on the greens to be cut this week, fairways are top notch for the amount of rain we have had.Weather looks promising with a little more rain, sun and wind this week.Course should be in top condition.

132 starters tomorrow for a shotgun start at 8am.I had a bit of a look over a few holes today, greens have been cut, fairways look smick and tee markers are off the back. All we need is the rain to hold off.
