-5 in a par comp on the weekend. After 6 holes I had played more shots with the putter than the rest of the clubs combined, which was interesting.
Really good off the tee, really bad at the business end of the hole. Story of my golfing life.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.
Three rounds into the club champs 85, 76, 82 is not going to cut it in A Grade, and not in B Grade either, 15 Handicapper has had 79, 71 for his first two rounds, be interesting to see what his 3rd round brings!

Managed to get out for a game at Warragul today , had 30 pts 12/18 , first time I have had 18 for nine since I started back . Was selling clubs on eBay after the first nine of utter crap .
On paper (or on an electronic screen) my score of 84 nett 78 on today's midweek medal looks pretty bad. And on 4 holes it was, with three ugly doubles from close to the green and a triple. But the rest of the round was quite good, and it was mainly a misbehaving putter that caused the scoring problems.
The triple was caused by a two shot penalty for hitting the wrong ball. It is a very long time since I have done that, and it was nobody's fault but mine. A ball of the same brand and a similar marking was on the edge of the fairway, while my ball, which actually had a red marking, not a black one, was hiding in the rough. I didn't check closely. Hopefully it will be a long time until I transgress again.

Foursomes championships out here in Leinster on the weekend just gone. Was hitting the ball alright, but a new, lighter putter meant I left a lot of putts short. Paired up with the club captain and we won the day easily. Was just a pity only four people turned up this year so we only had one group to compete against and they had a shocker. Had 5 or 6 groups tee off in the same event last year so only 2 this year was a real letdown.
33 points, a bit better than the shit last weekend.
Last round of Club Champs for an 81, played ok, struggled to make putts on the back nine. Monthly Medal next week, for another round of stroke!
Played my first Saturday comp at Curlewis.
41 points. 3rd overall.
Played Warragul today , should have stayed at home , 26 pts 11/15 , just can't get my swing to work consistently.
Had 36, it felt like drinking xxxx gold!
37 points off 6 today at Penrith , 16/21 . Won 2ball scratch
