Ok all, it is fast approaching 12 months since the sad passing of our great friend Paul jordison aka Live4golf. I am throwing my hat in th ring to organise a Memorial Day somewhere around the 19/20 or 26/27 August. Was thinking his last home track Kooindah Waters?

Ok everyone, here is the lastest. Wyong ended up a dead end so I am back talking to Kooindah.

At this stage our best option is Sunday 3/9/17 from 11am with a single tee start.

Cost will be $60pp + $20 for a cart if wanted. Id like to suggest like the ISG day that we all chip in an extra $20 to be donated to the charity.

I need to know numbers asap so I can book it in.

The ISG guys are also having a memorial hit but that will fall on PJs birthday every year on Sept 18. All are welcome to that too.

Updated OP with possible attendees. Happy to work around different dates to suit more people and bluuey also mentioned the possibility of Cabramatta if it is easier for everyone to attend?

Like the ISG guys are doing, we could also incorporate an auction to get some money going to the black dog institute. Thought perhaps we could bring any items we want to donate to the cause and we could auction them off with all proceeds going to TBDI. I'd be happy to co-ordinate items, funds, the donation etc etc but will need a loud mouth auctioneer on the day or would we do it by ballot or silent auction?

Thoughts? Not sure I can make it still but would still be happy to co-ordinate into the lead up and donate an item even if I couldn't make it on the day.

So it looks like the ISG guys have scored the good deal at Kooindah. They are getting there game and cart for $45 each where the best they can offer me is $100 each.

Any thoughts on where else we could look?

Yeah but it is $75 with the extra $30 going to beyond blue. And it's on PJs birthday, which falls on Monday this year.

All good Peppas, didn't mean it to sound like I was complaining. Just talking to the guys at Kooindah who explained they had already struck a deal for one golf day in memory of PJ so they couldn't match it for a second which is understandable. That's a top idea having the extra $30 put in.
