Default 2017 Qld Champs Warm-up - Gordonvale Golf Club: Thursday 7th September

Whether you want to fine tune your game, do some last minute sand-bagging, or simply to experience the famous (..infamous..) Gordonvale Golf Club, then you're welcome to join me. http://www.gordonvalegolfclub.com.au/http://www.swingbyswing.com/courses/...olf-Club/43259
    • Cost: $20 including comp fees - single stroke according to fixtures list. Carts are available so please let me know if you would like one reserved.
    • Time: Latest tee times for the comp are usually around 12:30pm. I should be able to get later tee times if required, to give anyone travelling on the day some extra time to get to GGC.
Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Okay, a bit over a week to go (can't come quick enough). Who is flying in on Thursday and what time(s) are you arriving? I'll look to contact GGC in the next few days to finalize reserving spots on the timesheet and, if required, to see if we can extend the last tee time for the comp for those that want to have their round handicapped.

For the non-FNQers, if you wouldn't mind pm'ing your Golflink numbers to me by early next week please, that would be helpful.

    Cheers.

And I'm hoping to get from my Wed accommodation to the Bay Village, drop off everything except my clubs, and snag a lift off whoever is available and has a spare seat.

Just confirming, you're going to need a lift?

Ja. I have a seat in Courty's car, but I don't know if it extended to this trip from the airport to Gordonvale.

No worries, I could swing past the airport and pick you up if Courty couldn't.

I'll be arriving Wednesday and staying Wednesday night, taking my pick of the best rooms, checking out the food and other facilities, then probably driving KJ to the course Thursday.

That would be appreciated, if it's not much trouble. Hopefully it can tie in with someone else arriving at the airport.

No worries. It will be easier for me to swing past the airport rather than for Courty to double back. Who are you flying with?

Just a bit late for the round at Gordonvale. 😞

Jetstar. Which is risky, but not as risky as the flight back with Tiger.

Just gotten confirmation from GGC that the last three groups have been reserved for us and as we are the last groups in the comp a later tee time than 12:10pm shouldn't be a problem. That is unless anyone needs a cart. Is anyone thinking of riding? If so I can slot you into one of the earlier groups.
