    Default Getting a game in Japan.

    Back to Korea for the last time, and taking the bats with me. Was thinking of popping over to the Land of the Rising Sun for a hit.

    I have a tonne of reviews about needing to know someone to get on, and the other wacky traditions they have. Does anyone know if there are any true "public access" course over there? If so, what is the protocol?

    be prepared for a full frontal nude bath afterwards - the courtesy towel will assist with stage fright

    Its also customary to wash your host's back in front of everyone

    Pretty much part and parcel of golf in Japan. Some courses offer 'play through' (I think that is what they call it) which is like what we do here - pay and play. Have a read of that site I linked earlier and see what they say.

    It's not looking good for an easy quick trip. Dont think I want to pay for a trip to Japan for 2 days for all that guff.

    Might go to Jeju island instead.
