    Default S.o.o. 2018.

It's that time again folks where the best teams are debated over, particularly N.S.W.'s.

The way he was performing last night Dugan was a must for you guys at centre (particularly with Tedesco for fullback) but apparently he's out of Origin 1. Bit of a blow imo, he's a real competitor.

The Blues halves will again be contentious and i still wonder whether Pearce is still the best of a bad bunch, particularly now Maloney really seemed to find his footing last year. Daley loves his combination.

Looking forward to seeing how Gillett goes, there's no better forward in the world now for my money. Holmes looks greatly suited to Origin too depending on the Slater/Boyd/Oates/O'Neill/Gagai/Chambers mix. Being the Test winger he'd have a good chance of slotting in.

The big issue will be Billy Slater, if he keeps playing the way he is he'd be impossible to omit and the QLD selectors are extremely loyal and consistent. Could we see Boyd back to the wing even in career best form?

I can understand a lot of Blues fans having lost interest but i think N.S.W. is getting a little stronger each year (and we are weakening a tad) and there's not much between the teams. A couple of series wins to the blues and most of nsw will find some ticker again, guaranteed.

I'm a chance to watch this year given I won't have to watch the Gallen/Bird combo run for 4 tackles and sub 20m every set of six.

Well, not quite zero. I'm down here now and I still care. And who knows, with no Thurston potentially and no Scott for QLD, and no Gallen trying to play first receiver for NSW, it could be a close series.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

It should be a good close series this year..... Thurston probably won't play, and we'll miss Scotts meters massively !!

They also believed Holmes should have been in without doubt. Basically they had Slater fullback, Boyd and Holmes on the wing and Chambers and Gagai in the centres.

    Time will tell.

QLD losing Gallen and Farrah are as debilitating as losing Inglis x 2. Particularly Gallen. N.S.W.'s ballplaying and attack just improved tenfold.

Wary of Pearce tonight. He's had a break, is still young and surely can't keep underperforming particulary now Farah is out and he has free reign. His old halves partner found his footing at this level last year too.

We were. We badly need Thurston for the next game and regardless it will be a big big hill to climb. Scott, Thurston, Parker, Inglis, it's a lot to miss at once. Particularly given NSW played well last year and have had some top players coming thru. Tedesco and Fifita were unstoppable tonight and made an immense difference. It's a strong team now and getting better. They look good without Farah and Gallen.

I'd like to see Slater in the second, get some experience and flair in there. I'd slip Gagai into the centres, Boyd to wing and give O'Neill a rest. Our forwards will have to perk up tho. Chambers, Oates an Gagai played well i thought.

Changing centres won't help you, Inglis is another forward and Scott is irreplaceable. Even with Thurston back you can't win with that pack.

Napa was excellent, but played 40 minutes. Lillyman is ineffective. The rest were missing pretty much.

Also, in the second half we missed Milford more than NSW missed Pearce.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Pearce's knock meant we lost our MVP.
