He's been showing some great form with the Ipswich Jets, I think he's a good choice ........

I think QLD will put him somewhere so he doesn't have to catch any bombs or kick offs.

The bench looks safe but I could be wrong.

He'll do well as a sub, coming on and just running the ball, not having to organise anything.

    2 things from this:

    - DCE must be so on the nose for whatever reason. Perhaps he's not an "Origin" player.
    - If the Qld brains trust is on the money, Supercoach Bennett is either wrong, out of touch or both.

PG, been great for Manlys season, and they will towel up the panthers this week and he'll prove them wrong again.

Maybe it's a cunning plan by Wayne:

    QLD lose

Slater, JT and Cronk retire on a down note

    Ben Hunt gets the blame

    Kevvie gets sacked

    Wayne takes over

Time for Pearce to get that photo with the King.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Better blockers, shit new ploy, although I said to my kids I sort of hope NSW lose because Pearce doesn't deserve it.

The blocking on the kicks is pretty shit. Cronk seems to be really good at it and Hayne is good at falling over. But NSW were outplayed all over the park in another great QLD victory.

Bah! Any state can have a bad decade.

The trouble is that two bad decades in a row is a bad look. The evidence of last night suggests another bad decade is on the cards.

All the so-called Qld weak links came up trumps. Mcguire and Napa and Wallace were strong in the middle, Morgan was good at centre and Munster was very good. At the same time, NSW had nothing, and there really aren't any shining lights demanding to be picked as an alternative to Pearce and Moloney.

Bring back Sam Thaiday. We need someone to hate while we are getting beaten.

Am I the only one that noticed that Papalli and Fafita were not on the park at the same time? Was there only 1 pie supplier?

    Was Fafita on at all?

QLD were a completely different side to game 1 in energy and speed. Maybe the dropping/non selection of Slater had more effect than was thought at the time?

Sacking Daley won't do a thing.

It'll be Groundhog Day until someone can instill a culture into NSW similar to what the Maroons have.

Agreed NSW need to adopt Qld culture of:
    1. Not selecting Pearce
    2. Willing and able to block chasers
    3. Lay all over tackled players

So NSW doing 2 out of 3 of those things last night didnt help.

    Only leaves 1 option.

    At least the NSW Captain and some of his players understand why they lost, and haven't consulted the Book of Lame Excuses;
