Navy Social Golf Club round yesterday at Half Moon Bay (2017 QLD Champs Monday venue). I hit it pretty solid on the front 9 but only scored 13 pts on the back of a few horrendous kicks. I started the back with a wipe from nowhere on 10, then shot 20 pts for the remaining 8 holes. 33pts was good for 3rd place and I also won both NTPs.

Single Stableford at Cairns GC this morning. The form was scratchy but I managed to keep it in play for the most part and scored reasonably well as a result. 19/18 for 37pts with a wipe.

41 points today. scratched around for 18 on the first 9 (back 9) after a poor start, then shot 40 off the stick on the front 9 for 23 points, with 2 3 putts in there Happy to be hitting things reasonably straight, although still short. Should see the handicrap actually start to move down!

Played 9 this morning with my 7yo daughter. First time she has kept score for a full 9 holes playing from the ladies tees. While she had an admirable 71, I managed an even par 36, 2xbirds 2xbogies.

Blew off work this Arvo and played the Wednesday comp with Solarman and a few mates.

16/19-35 off 6, 3 birdies with another 3-4 that either hit the hole or hung on the lip. Love the DJ Spider.
Looks like I'll drop some more off the h/c. Makes the burger bet interesting this Saturday.

I'm reporting in for the first time in 11 weeks, after bicycle related injuries.

I started with low expectations, with the real target to not embarrass myself, and other targets to hit some good shots and get a feel for the game again. I also had a dream target related to a streak I have going from another thread.

The final score was 85/78 in the midweek medal, and all targets were achieved. My driving was off, but I hit some good ones, and my putting was quite off, but all in all it was a good day despite the score.

My arm is a bit stiff and sore right now, so there will be no followup game straight away, but I'm back on the competition course again, and that is a good thing.

2 for 2! After last week's win, I followed up strong with a 41-pointer to shoot even par on my track. Enough to win net and gross for the day with a big field (160 entrants). I've been kindly asked if I could please let others members win a few comps too

Nice. Sounds like you've sorted out the problems on the practice green.
