I played my first 18 hole round in about 6 years today at Cardinia Beaconhills in Upper Beaconsfield.
Hit 94 off the stick and very happy with how I played considering the time between walks.
    3 Pars
    9 Bogeys
    4 Doubles
    2 Triples
One of the triples was on the second hole Par 3 where after a topped tee shot down the hill, and a search in the scrub, I found the ball and hit it onto the green to then realise I had hit a random ball that wasn't mine. Went for another search, found mine, took the 2 stroke penalty and ended up with a 6. Rookie mistake.

One thing which threw me was there is no flat lies on that course, even on the fairways. Almost every second shot was a sideways lie, which are tough to practice at the range but I found my swing after 8 holes or so. Still the course was in great condition for this time of year and the greens were smooth as eggs. Worth the drive down but get a cart. It's a tough walk.

I'm Glad to be back playing again.

    Cheers Lager,
    Bogey
    Triple
    Bogey
    Triple
    Par.

We got there about 45 minutes before tee time and then when we were in the pro shop the guy asked if we could get on then and there. So yeah straight from the car to the tee. A warm up probably wouldn't have made a difference though haha.

You know what's wrong with me. I can surely fit into the handicapped category.

It was my first ever golf trophy that didn't have the wording "NAGA" on it.
