Played Royal Canberra today - 4bbb par. Started well, had a bad patch for 4 holes where I made 4 straight misses (all would have beem tap in 1 pointers).

We ended up -2, I had -3 by myself.

Course is fantastic. The changes make it long off the plates, amd there are some amazingly difficult greens.

They were running at 11.5 today, and would be insane running much faster.

34 points today at Toowoomba City Golf Club.

No birdies, some pars, few bogies and a couple of others.

Worse I've played in a while, 31 points, saved my arse with chipping and putting as well to get that many. Only hit 3 greens.

80/73 Monthly Medal, delayed due to wet weather. Scarified Greens and river silt throughout the course, made for challenging conditions.

Too many doubles. Oh well. Not the worst I've scored.

Easter Saturday stroke event... started with 3 straight doubles, then birdie, then triple. FFS. Gave myself an uppercut and a stern talking to then reeled off 7 straight pars. Finished up with 82/74.

17/04/2017, Jindalee GC (Social Tees), Social 9 holes.

I haven't touched a club since Dec 6, when I played at Barny Dunes with BenM. I didn't hit it fantastically, but good enough to take advantage of a short course to match my three bogeys with three birdies for even par. Game conquered!

Apologies to my charity golf day partners on Friday, for using up all my good golf early.

    Score 33 (Par 33). BbBBPbbPP

    Social 9 at Gunnedah.
    52 off the stick.
Not bad, considering that's the third round I've played in nearly 3 years.
Took me 6 holes to hit a good drive, iron play was solid, 22 putts the killer today. Too many 3 putts.

First real game since End of Nov last year.
Lots of miss hits and not many good ones.
25pts @ TTG, 3pts in last 6 holes. This was better than most rounds I have on this course.

Easter Sunday Day 2 of the Easter Classic - 95/80 (same as the first round funnily enough)

Easter Monday - Nudgee North - 31 points. Nothing too bad, 2 wipes.

Didn't want to post till it was an official round on golflink (innocently forgot to sign my card so needed to speak to the GM of the club to get it approved for handicapping) but had 36pts (19/17) in the monster Thursday (tips) stableford at Stonecutters last Thursday. Tripled the first and doubled the 12th but aside from that was happy to finish with 36pts. Hit the ball quite well on the front 9 but hit the ball pretty ordinary on the back. Didn't make many putts on the front but scrambled and made a couple on the back. Handicap down to 6.9.

86/76 in a catch up medal day for the March one that was washed out. First game in a while and hit it decent but 5 x doubles is never impressive on the scorecard.
