Played MM at Lynwood today. Gross 80 for nett 71. Not bad but had a triple, a double and a three putt bogey from 4 feet on the last. Would have won the A grade nett medal with nett 69 On the brighter side, GA went down to 7.3. The lowest I've ever been

Nice work Rich. A shame about the blips on the card but a solid round.

Can't believe 7.3 is the lowest you've been... thought for sure you were just going through a rough patch of late... #flusha

Thank Waz. Doubles and triples are never too far away when I play. 5 of the 8 shots I dropped today were the double and triple. Very typical round for me so when I can ditch those big numbers, I'll be where I should be hopefully. In fairness, Lynwood plays pretty short and suits my game as well so have always played quite well there. Well most of the time anyway..........

That's a good result with three doubles but it does hurt thinking of what could be though. I know how you feel.

35pts yesterday. A few more pars again and some wasted opportunities but much happier with the driver even if I only got confidence with it 10 minutes before the start of the round.

33pts yesterday. Happy with how I played. Rough is brutal at the moment from the weather we have had. Lost 2 balls that from the tee that I thought would have been fine but were never to be seen again.

Midweek monthly medal at Gungahlin today - first group out kicking the dew off.

Started ok, and finished with a birdie on 9 for 37 around the front.

Then on 10 got an unlucky bounce into the water off the tee, dropped into a shocker of a lie with 145m water carry in, blocked the next in the water, dropped, shanked the next one into a tree which ricocheted back into the water. Chip, 2 putts, 9.

Ended up with nett 73 which will probably be a played to 5 once scores come in.

    How good is golf?
