Too wet this week and busted finger, means no golf. Not sure if the road was open to even get there!

Must have been the day for it cause I was exactly the same. 37/45 nett 73. Started on the back 9 and figure when I putted out on 18 my brain must have thought job done and shut down.

101 off the stick for a 77 nett. Front 9 hit 48 with 4 PARS!

Went double, par, par, par, double, triple, quad, par, double.

Need a lesson or two with the driver as i've lost all confidence. A hit fairway today was Par/Bogey, miss and minimum double even if i had a decent view of the green.

Never had such an up and down 3hrs and 40 minutes.

I made the trek to Port Douglas to play Palmer Sea Reef (formerly Sea Temple, and 2017 QLD Champs Saturday venue) yesterday with Bushy & Solarman.

I started out poorly with a 3-jack on the 1st, struggling on the greens for most of the front 9 and turned with only 13pts. I pulled myself together and played the back 9 considerably better with 21pts to finish with 34.

Another solid round yesterday, 19/18 for 37.
Left a few shots out there due to some bad putts but in saying that g.a is down to a new low of 6.7 so can't be to upset.

Had a 2 man ambrose on Saturday and we had 5 under. Played Sunday and shot 1 under for 39points, 3 stabb for birdie from about 2 metres didn't help.

I'm hoping to play this Saturday. Will be my first game since Feb 26 due to a combination of work, wet weather, resulting in the course being closed, and the latest being cyclone Debbie and hundreds of trees down. I was at the golf club all weekend, but spent most of the time on a chainsaw.

36 points in the MM today.. 8 GIRs and probably just as many triple stabs.

Cored, wet and lumpy greens that have been left to grow this week and were a complete lottery.

32 points, with 6 attempts at birdie inside 15 foot, and only made one putt longer than 3 foot for the day.

2 NTP's to two difficult pins when I left. Hopeful one holds up.

With over 200mm of rain already this month the course is showing it. The course is beyond saturation point, and today's conditions were preferred lies, standing water everywhere, bunkers GUR, no run etc etc.
A small number of us braved the squalls & showers this morning to have a crack at it. I felt like I hit the ball reasonably well for the most part, but couldn't put a score together, finishing with 32pts.

Got a quick 18 in at Okpo Screen golf. First time I have swung a club in 4 weeks, after hurting my back.

After a little Korean/English troubles I was away. RBZ max irons, smoke putter, and ti max power driver was the weapons for the day. Course was a loose adaptation of the old course.

Started of poorly, spraying a few drivers OB, and also struggled with sim putting. Turned the front 9 in 55. Finally figured out how to aim the sim, sorted out my swing, and hit 6 gir. Unfortunately it's going to take a while to learn how to sim putt. Did manage a single one putt on the last for a birdie. Easy 46 for a 101 total.

Now, to the Sim. It was unreal, way better than anything I have seen. The hitting area has fw, rough and "sand" lies. It also is motorised and tilts to match your lie. It seems to be camera based, with 3 cameras in the ceiling. Graphics are a step above GC2. It has an automated ball return and auto teeing. The complex itself has 12 bays, and is one of 4 I have found so far in town.

It's about the best I will get in the lead up to NSW champs. And it only took 45min. As I was leaving, about 50 people were waiting for the "Saturday comp" to start.
