I guess I should throw out a belated EAD to the hawks now that this thread is alive again.

    I've never hated Eade though.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

Yep. Teams always get better when their best player leaves.

Nothing to do with what he does on field.

That would have just been some poly filler over the cracks.
I think Eade's term showed what a good job Bluey did in getting them in to the position where they were.

    There's a divide with players.
There's the Bible study group and then the others.
Captain is supposed to have players united pulling in the same direction, not divided.
Great player, not a leaders bum hole.

I think the Fruit Tingles would agree with that.

Good question, but more to the point, why are two irrelevant clubs who can't make finals playing in the prime Friday night slot?

Probably because the Dogs could have made it had they won and other results gone their way.

There were a few of us at Cairns casino cheering them on. And by cheering them on, I mean barracking against Geelong.
