Joining VGC will give you opportunities to play RM - they often host each other in local comps etc. along with the other major sandbelt tracks.
VGC seems to hold its heritage so well - it would be a great club to be a part of.
The members were having a wonderfull time on a Wednesday night having dinner then a card game over several bottles of red, I could hear them going @ it till midnight whilst upstairs. Would be a great club to retire into.
When you get the coin, do it!

I played Metropolitan today. 40km winds, lightning greens, it was freaking tough. In fantastic condition. Had Ponting in the group in front and when we finished Brian Lara and Ian Botham were heading out.
Playing Victoria on friday.

Played Victoria yesterday, really nice course but it didn't have the wow factor of Metro. Stayed at the clubhouse, felt like I had stepped into the Tardis and gone back in time 100 years lol.
