Not till much later in the year unfortunately. 9th of December is the date in the fixtures guide. http://www.gordonvalegolfclub.com.au/upcoming-fixtures.html

    Weekly recap for me.

Monday: Maroochy River Black Swan Back Marker Stroke.

Played great off the tee all day, but iron play was very average. Struggled with the greens as as well - they are still coming back from a core and were very in consistent. A 9 on the 7th didnt help.

    47/44 91 (Net 80 Par 72)
    3x 3jabs

    Tuesday: Hervey Bay Stableford.

Once again nailed it off the tee, played woeful with the irons, and putted like a busted arse. Grabbed the wrong putter (Adikt) that I havent gamed for a year a struggled all day, though managed to avoid a 3 putt.

    14/17 31
    0x 3jabs

    Wednesday: Maryborough Stableford

Decided to give the Fly Z+ driver another chance, and it started well with a 280m drive on run (note: fw are like carparks at the moment). Wasn't to last though, and struggled with it the rest of the day. Did pick up on some of my iron play issues, so was hitting them a little better. Took my Never Compromised out (Anser 2 shape), and this thing is the tits! Nailed 2x 20ft birdie putts, and lagged the crap out of just about everything else today. Superb putter!

I had a fairly dull 34 points today.

It was a mixture of quite good shots and quite bad shots, but it appears my recent purple patch of form might be over.

39 points this morning (22/17) at Richmond. A few lip outs on the back 9 let me down big time, otherwise the game was generally pretty solid.

Coring happens next week, so next Sat is ambrose and playing @ Lynwood the following day (not sure what their reno schedule is but hopefully they're doing it the week after next...)

Edit: Good enough for the win in A Grade, and a 0.6 drop in the cap.

A mighty 7pts though the front 9 at Maryborough today. Tweaked my back on the opening drive, and really struggled to hit anything after that.

After a lovely 160m bunt drive on 8, decided it might be the right time to pull the pin, especially considering I have 13hrs of flying on Monday,

    Thanks Dotty.

And I know you do the 160m bunt drive thing, so I assume you mean the sore back bit.

My lawyers will contact you about my 160m bunt drive patent.

No, I did very similar at Magenta Shores last year with M3J, Jazz and Vader. Tweaked left ribs on the 6th, and retired hurt on the 9th. (One week rest, two weeks physio and back playing on the 21st day.)

Find yourself a good psyhio and actually stick to the exercises after you heal, may be able to dig out all the strengthening and flexibility stuff I got when I stuffed my back if you want.

A quality 27 today (12/15), I had less wipes after my pre game s$#t then I did during a shocking front 9, improved on the back but swing is feeling very hit and miss atm.

33pts 20/13 but had the 13 my first nine. Played pretty rough to start but came good towards the end with 7 pars a double and a bogey on the second nine.

The shorter heavier shaft went well in the driver.

Cairns GC must be resting the tee boxes for a bit or something. there are several weeks in a row of comps off the red tees. It didn't make much difference on most holes, but the 5th (par 3) was almost 100m shorter

Anyhoo, I turned with 18 (including a wipe), but hit some rank shots on the second nine which proved to be costly and I only managed 14 on that side for a total of 32pts.

80/71 in the old man's annual golf day - Stroke event on Thursday.

Had a putt to par the front nine that just missed, then proceeded to bogey 7 of the next 9 holes. Run the lip or lipped out 5 times.

If i am being honest, the drinky doodle doos i tipped in before and during the front 9 kicked in out the back.

I hit 8 out of 9 greens in reg on the front.

    Still won A grade 😊

32 with 4 washes, more sand on the greens than in the bunkers and no beer cart.......... but it was for a good cause.
