I heard that they added the 4th layer with the Red to increase the spin with the long and mid irons. The playability with the driver and the shorter irons/wedges are supposed to be the same.I tried the mixed box and I can't really tell which one I prefer. I'll probably go with the black. And yeah, I agree that these are just as good as any other premium ball on the market.

4 rounds for the normal player ? Or 4 rounds of slamming it off trees like I do??

I just finished a full round with a Red on the weekend. So its done roughly 20 holes. A few wear patches but I slammed it off all sorts of trees this weekend.

I wasn't noticing any drop in performance (hard to notice when your playing like shit) but honestly the ball looks fine enough to play again next week.

I threw the Trainee Pro a Red and Black and he loves the Black. Same report, looks and plays like new after a round.

After playing the Red on the weekend I will try the black this weekend. Red spun way too much for me on 3/4 approach shots. The Black didn't.

Is anyone still playing the Vision balls ?

I played the expert2 back in the day but noticed that things have changed, a lot !

They have a sale on that's too good to pass up, IF their balls are still as good as they use to be.

Been using the Titleist AVX with a lot of success of late.

Much less spin (for me anyway) making it easier to control the spin on the greens and longer off the tee and irons

Hopefully Titleist cull them and I can stock up cheaply

I found one and have definitely noticed it piercing through the wind on certain holes.

I liked the Chrome Softs because they feel harder to slice/hook off the tee and really bite on the green. But been improving on my contact and when I ran out recently I went with Srixon Z Star XVs which go miles further off the tee and aren't too shabby spinning on the green either. Also have a handful of Titleist Pro V1X's which I assume will have similar characteristics to the XVs.

Despite the ads, even though I'm in the low 100s mph swing speed I feel like I can still take advantage of the harder balls. So will stick with the XVs and V1Xs until I lose them. Looking to try out the Srixon Z-Stars to see if the happy medium between Chrome Softs and XVs give me even better performance.

bought a sleeve of the new bridgestone x..srixon...callaway chrome with soccer ball dimples paint9 looks awesome at address!!!) baseball print even better....prgr rs spin...titleist prov . provx last cpl of rounds

callways feel the hardest off the driver face,.
prgr spun the most off the 8 iron.
titlesit didn't notice a single ting which is just great by me.
srixon I think I liked ht e feel of best over all
but the yellow fluro bridgestone just look so awesome, I cant get em out of the bag in comp just don't take em where there are crows!

the srixon overall was a really good ball all round.
nothing flash about ti what so ever I just liked the slightly harder feel to it more than the super soft prgr and brdigestones.

prgrs spun like a top. incredible form around the greens.

if it were just one, the looks of the new bridgestones suckers me into much .. they just look andfeel In te hand awesome,

    1..BS
    2..srixon
    3..prgr
4..tity didn't matter which one, I cudnt tell any difference.
    5..callaway

cpl of others I palyed a prgr distance ball this went lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng and felt so soft... really nice ball to smash
and my all tme fave tourstage x-01z.. this seems to always end up in play in oz.
cant fault it, harder compound on the putter face, seems more consistent when putting so that seems to get most play.

based as much on looks as anything , lets face it the yy are all so good.

I picked up some of these yesterday and put one into use this morning at Monash. Great ball, especially with the softer greens after last nights rain. 18 holes with it and not a scratch on it as well which is a bonus.

I did a sleeve swap with Bushy to try out some Vice Pros... I'm convinced, they're as good as any other premo ball I've played. I'll be doing an order soon.
