There were new ones, too. Which is where the ones I used today came from. Ozgolf must have cleaned them out.

I'm now exclusively playing SNELL MTB original after going through my last sleeve of ProV's.

I have no doubt these are as good if not better than ProV's and any other premo ball on the market. It took me a while to make the D to buy a full 6 dozen without hitting them but at the run-out price of $216 delivered, combined with all the data on the internet I'm extremely happy with the choice and wont be going back anytime soon.

The new versions are out of which I have hit the Black (closest to the original MTB) and its just as good. They're still great value at $252 for 6 doz.

Current use Chrome soft yellows. Never played a yellow ball before, and have absolutely hated every Cally ball ever released until I found one at Moonah Links one day and put it into play. That ball I found was my "provisional" ball for 4 or 5 rounds afterwards and I was impressed with how long it lasted in playable condition. Even though the white version is the same ball, I just don't get the same feeling of confidence as I do with the yellow version. Straight off the tee, good through wind, savage spin on the greens.

Well I think I will be moving exclusively to the new Snell MTB Red.

I usually prefer the 3 piece variations out there, but the Red works for me. Durability on both is amazing.

I am still working through the Test Pack I ordered, and I could honeslty play either the Black or the Red.

I was really impressed with both and will make up mind over the next week or so, but it will certainly be a Snell ball I use going forward.

played the bridgestone E6 speed during the weekend... seems to go slightly further than the TP5 I was using before, and less wild in the windy condition...
But after hitting it for 1 round, the surface seems to be a little more cut up compare to the TP5

FYI, theres a few tests out there but this is probably the most in depth.

Still rocking the vision pro tour X red. My course for them in for me so can now use my credits for golf balls. And with the amount I lose each week, that's a good thing.

Switched to Vice Pro Plus and haven't looked back. Performance is great and durability is fine. I buy 5 dozen at a time and the cost is very good.

I'm impressed with the Titleist Tour Soft.
The NXT Tour S was ultra-reliable for an old 12 marker, but these seem to have a bit extra in all parts of the game.

Doubly impressed at $35 a box, and later worked out that shop muppet probably confused it with he DT TruSoft.

I think it worked out at $4.60 ish a ball to test them. They are both pretty similar but both perform really well.

If you then buy them 3 dozen at a time you get them for $3.75 a ball. Which is pretty damn good for the durability and performance.

Snell black = Normal, Snell Red = X. Is that how they market their balls ?

Snell Black is the original MTB but with slightly lower compression to reduce spin.

Red increases spin a bit over the Black. Red is the only one that comes in yellow.

In saying that the new ProV’s flipped the order of X and V. More about flight and feel not spin.
