I been buying the as new Pro V1x balls from Bolt Golf, great quality cheap shipping based on the gold coast.

Im not sure Pete, they are sponsoring a hole and i have been buying my balls from them for a while now. I dont mention the golf day on here as im not sure im allowed to. I can send them a email and ask the question for you. If they are willing to do it are you going to play. Only have about 20 spots left i think.
Srixon Z-Star. Looking forward to trying the new '6th Gen' with "SpinSkin". If anyone has tried already would be pleased to hear.
Titleist AVX
Anyone give the MTB-X a whack yet ?
I've been mostly using ZStar XVs, but they do seem to scuff up faster than some other balls I've used.
I quite liked some Mizuno MP-S balls I picked up on special too - nice around the green and pretty durable.
Bridgestone B-XS.
AVX or Prov1. I prefer the AVX for putting as it’s a bit firmer.
Gonna give the ad333 tour a spin after using one in a charity day on Friday
If it aint for sale the right price has just not been offered
I have stuck with the ad333 since winning a few at Vic Champs.Really happy with them.Dont seem to be the longest ball around, but they work how I like on the greens and that's all that matters

Another Srixon Z-Star user here. I play the XV version and for the crack of dawn tee times I use a yellow ball to help find it amongst the trees.
I can't find another ball that performs so well for the price.
Been using up my Volvik Vista golf balls that I pinched from a corporate golf day a few years back.
They are the clickiest, crapiest spinning golf ball I have ever used. Not a fan of the chalk like residue after about 12 holes.
I feel sorry for anyone who paid $70 for this ball when it came out.

After years of using ProV1s and other premium pills and never getting below 11hcp when I was playing regularly a few years ago, I've recently returned to the game and started to play more regularly.
I'm coming in with a different strategy this time. Use a lower spin 2 piece ball to hopefully get a straighter ball flight off the driver and more roll out on chips etc. Hoping this will help promote some more predictable flight and short game (noting I won't get as much greenside spin). The other key thing is I'll use this ball for at least 12 months so that I will get to know its performance. One less variable to worry about. For these reasons I'm playing the standard Srixon Q-Star. So far I've played about 3 rounds with it and I'm enjoying it. The short game performance is actually much better than I expected and it feels great off the driver and irons.

I used a Bridgestone e6 as a provisional on Sunday, but it went the same direction as my standard U-Tri Tour.
I honorably retired a Z-Star XV after 54 holes. It looked like the cover was getting stressed at the seam.
I play Maxfli cheapies from Big W. Have been for at least the last 6 months. I like them. I am at my lowest ever handicap at present so not sure what part the ball plays in that but they seem to work ok for me.
Just bought some q star tour.I get too much spin with chrome soft, not quite enough with the standard q star, hopefully these will be about ok
