Getting a lot of nice soaking rain at the moment ... let's hope they get a bit at the dams.

At least the grass and plants will look a little healthier after this anyway

I've been keeping up on watering most of the plants using shower water. It seems to have done a pretty good job, but you can't compete with nice drizzling rain

I'll have to change the mower blades soon in anticipation

That's my backyard AP. Jarro would be one of those guys out in the backyard prying individual weeds out of his grass one by one.

I cultivate them. They make my backyard look green! Just don't go bare foot!

Haven't watered our garden in maybe 7 years. It shows!

And I might have to get the dialing fingers ready to call the guy that mows ours

Ballina to Casino was yellow - all the grass in the paddocks were burnt and killed by the frosts a few weeks back. It's been raining non-stop since Saturday night.

It was an interesting ride home in the Rex vomit-rocket!

How's the sir walter going in the drought Jarro? When I did my house inspection at Oxley in July, it was the only grass in the backyard that was still green.

    Still kicking along nicely mate

It's been going a little yellow in patches though ... but with this little bit of rain we're getting now i expect it will really kick on again.
