Well as somebody that was on Nightshift last night, I can tell you the rain was very little until just before 6 this morning, just in time for my walk to the carpark after work. There was also a light shower around 9pm too. You can bet it never rained in the catchment yet again.

So we need to take Matts advice and convert the CBD and north shore into one big damn.
It'd make it a lot nicer to visit

So is the salt water lighter than the fresh water or is the fresh water lighter?
Maybe we could put in some form of reverse osmosis filter around the whole thing that would desalinate the water coming in!
Man with thoughts like that, I should be running for the Greens!

It's bucketing down in the city right now and was in the Ipswich direction. But as you say, it means little if it doesn't go in the dams.

It's been great up my way too, although my tank is still only 20% full thanks to the little hole that is letting all the water out
hmmm, maybe that's Wivenhoe's problem?

Don't they have outlets built-in for that purpose? Every pool up here does.

I don't mean through the pump. All pools up here have a small pipe set into the side an inch or two below the top of the coping which lets water out when the level gets too high. Mine's through the back of the skimmer box.

I'm sure it will stop filling up once it reaches the top!
