Somebody's putting their holidays to good use
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

Five courses in a week, so on pace for 250. That will be hard to beat, even for Benno_R.

I'll have 3 different courses for the first 3 days of the year, including a 5hr drive to Capricorn resort tomorrow.

Doubt I'll keep up that pace though.

I have played there a fair bit over the years and enjoy it, but you are right about the greens this year they are the slowest I have seen them (bar coring time). I assumed it was due to the heat they were keeping them a bit longer.

    As expected:
    1. Maryborough GC
    2. Capricorn Resort (Championship course)
    3. Rockhampton GC

As a side note, Capricorn resort is a brilliant track, near or at the top of my list of best courses in Queensland.

What was Kyneton like? I almost had a game there a few months back when I was staying in the area, but I got over-ruled.

What was the condition of Cap like mate. It is one of my favourite courses as well though can struggle with conditioning from time to time.

Aside from some green couch sneaking in on a few greens, I would say it was bloody good. Fairways, tees, surrounds, and greens were great. Bunkers were average (more due to all the rain).

I might rack up appearances at a few different tracks this year. Not going to have full membership anywhere so a few different golf courses will be on the cards. Already chalked up three which is good for me in the first month of the year.

    1. Ryde Parramatta
    2. Oatlands
    3. Riverside Oaks - Gangarru

Go out to the Heritage with Pingsta yesterday and played the Henley course. Unfortunately they have lost large portions of their greens which is a shame to see.

    Boomerang Farm
    Noosa Valley
    Burrum District (Howard)
    Bundaberg

So far I have a grand total of 2, but we can't add to our list until we start one. I'd imagine the Vic Champs guys will be posting here quite soon.

    2. Teven Valley
