NSW Champs 2017 - 19-21 May 2017

More details to come, but here is what we got so far.

There will be a Friday game, more details to come.

Championship weekend is a Riverside Oaks with and we will be staying onsite, so no one has to drive...booyah!!
Cost person for Riverside Oaks will be $190 per night accomdation, which will including green/comp fees, prizes, cart hire and breakfast. We can tack on $27 for a bbq dinner. around $450 (Depending on numbers) for the 2 days Golf, including cart, 2 breakfast, 2 dinners, accommodation and prizes. Friday golf should be around $60

There will be a limit on home ppl they can accommodate, so first in best dressed. When you put you name down, please let me know how much dates of golf would you like and if you require accomodation. I won't require deposits until after New Year, but these guys will require payment in full, 3 weeks out.

If anyone can help with organising or prizes, it would be much appreciated.

Putting comp will run on Sat arvo in front of the clubhouse.

Qualifying will consist of 3 putts of varying lengths to different holes. Aggregate of distances to hole will be recorded. Top 8 (lowest aggregate) to 1/4 finals, seeded as ranked in qualifying.

Then 1/4 finals, semis and final. Sudden death extra putt with nearest to hole if required.

It is not a thankless job. Some have already thanked him, and the event hasn't taken place yet.

I'm wishing I was there, but it just isn't physically possible for me to play full rounds of golf. I'm swinging the clubs, but building up slowly to a real round of golf. I hit drivers for the first time today (depressingly short) but I'll probably have a sore arm tomorrow as a result.

I'll be the one posting at about 3.30pm on Sunday, impatiently waiting for results to be posted, and demanding to see the photos.
