NSW Champs 2017 - 19-21 May 2017

More details to come, but here is what we got so far.

There will be a Friday game, more details to come.

Championship weekend is a Riverside Oaks with and we will be staying onsite, so no one has to drive...booyah!!
Cost person for Riverside Oaks will be $190 per night accomdation, which will including green/comp fees, prizes, cart hire and breakfast. We can tack on $27 for a bbq dinner. around $450 (Depending on numbers) for the 2 days Golf, including cart, 2 breakfast, 2 dinners, accommodation and prizes. Friday golf should be around $60

There will be a limit on home ppl they can accommodate, so first in best dressed. When you put you name down, please let me know how much dates of golf would you like and if you require accomodation. I won't require deposits until after New Year, but these guys will require payment in full, 3 weeks out.

If anyone can help with organising or prizes, it would be much appreciated.

I think there already is some cement in the splint holding it all together. It doesn't get removed for another 10 days, so I'll know more then.

Bluu, and my other NSW friends (both of them)

I am definitely out.

Frustratingly, it isn't even the dislocated finger or my other significant pain area (a damaged back muscle) that is the problem.

My back is actually not too bad after being very sore last week, and while my finger doesn't bend much, I could've managed. But I went to the GP today to check why my other (right) arm doesn't bed and twist properly, and why it wasn't getting better. One X-ray later, and I now have a diagnosis of a minor, non-displaced fracture near the elbow. It doesn't hurt, but I have to wear a sling part-time for 4 weeks, and I have to avoid any shock-causing contact. Golf may be the worst thing I could possibly try to attempt.

Other Ozgolfers may sense my frustration in the occasional post for a while, as it seems that I can talk a good game, but I can't play one.

Get well soon, Jim. I did similar in 2006, and know the frustration of not picking up a club for 'three' months. In reality, only two months as I didn't want to miss the ELF Cup, since ELF is short for Easter Lager Fest.

No dropping out (I've sent a hundred today...still waiting on that bonus so I can transfer the rest) but I will only be able to stay overnight for Sat. I have another commitment for Fri night that has come up in the past few hours and I'd rather just head to my place after that than drive to RO late. Hope that's OK...

Sorry for the delay in pricing guys, I'm trying to organise the best deal with the course. As it stands each game is going up by $5 per day as we have less than 6 groups.
