Default Monthly Mug / NAGA - Nov 2016

Same drill - we're looking for the best Stableford score for the month, and the worst.
If you play a Stroke or Par comp check your Golf Link for your Stableford score or work it out if you can.
First to post their score on the site leads any count backs.
    (No DSR adjustments).

Prize is an OzGolf shout - the NAGA has to buy the Monthly Mug winner a beverage/pie/kitchener bun/pork roll/premium ball/coffee or some other agreed prize if they meet at an OzGolf event within a year.

Just a bit of fun really.

We have enough scores to get November Leader Boards started.

Grumpy8 the golf round robot got the month off to a flying start posting a 40pt round on day 1. That form was sort posting a 24pt round to be good enough to make the NAGA leader board in second spot. It will be interesting to see how many days he can stay in the top spot.

3puttpete jumps out to an early lead in the NAGA with a 1 point a hole average on 18pts. This one will also be worth watching if some one can have a worse day be be man enough to own up to it.

There were a few posters that didn't list their stableford scores that may have made the lists.

My 18 knocked off in 72 hours! I thought it'd last longer than that.

After he won Gross in B grade in the Medal Saturday, I didn't see him completely losing the plot Sunday.

Not having a current HC I have just worked out my score using my last rating from 10 months ago, 14, resulting in: 29pts.

Time for an update after my S.A Champs duties and play has finished.

There didn't seem to be many scores posted from the weekend outside the S.A Champs scores.
The S.A Champs saw some scores make the top Leader Board but the big changes were in the bottom Leader Board.

Monsta the NAGA specialist take the lead in this months NAGA with less than 1pt a hole average 17pts
Hatchman and hippo10 are new inclusions to the bottom 5 with scores of 19 and 20pts
Hard_Pan takes the last spot with the big back nine collapse at Royal Adelaide replacing a previous entry with 22pts

Highballin now with a taste for the top 5 takes the number 1 position with a fine 42pts.
Slothman joins the previous best 40pts tied in 2nd.
Grump8 backs up the early 40pts with a 39pt round in stand alone 3rd spot.
Benno_r breaks into singles now with the 38pt round tieing in 4th position.
New entry Lucasto23 posted a fine 38pts and was on target for another entry before lighting had the game called with 1 hole to go.
Hatchman posted 2 entries of 38pts and 37pts over the 6 games in 5 days S.A Champs marathon. A 3rd entry was looking likely with 3 holes to go when lightning had that game called too.

Hatchman and Hard_Pan have entries in in both the top and bottom Leader Boards and if previous moths are anything to go by one or both are likely to stay in both.

There may be some scores that could be good enough to make the top but no pts were listed in the what did you shoot thread.
It's at the stage where I'm no longer going to ask posters to list.

To be fair to Monsta, I half-recall reading that an OzGolfer had a 15 or 16 points last week.

Had a quick trawl through the Nov thread. Can't see it.
I'm not searching through the whole forum of a mention somewhere.

12 points last Wednesday at Magenta Shores.

Felt a twinge on my left side playing an 8i off the 6th, which became a full-blown stabbing pain by the 9th, so picked up and walked the back nine.

Online card entry and Golflink accepted wipes for the last 10 holes.

I thought I saw a 15 points in one of the proshop driver threads, but that may have been a 9 hole score.

Doesn't matter, as it's now trumped (or should that be 'hillaried', since it is a lower score).

Even if it doesn't win, Simmsy's 17 point effort around his home track off his highest cap inj years deserves recognition.

Wasn't aware of this. Now I don't feel quite so bad about the way I've been hitting them. Thanks Simmsy!

Sorry to all those hanging on the edge of their seats with the results as I'm a bit behind on the updates.
I try to have this month closed off either tomorrow or tonight.

Ok finally got around to getting November sorted.

After holding the lead for most of the month with 42pts highballin got bumped from the top position by shazza_rs with 43pts.
Squidboy's good form has continued with another high 42pt round. The hcp will catch up with him eventually.
Oldracer slipped in to tied 4th with 39pts.
New entries for tied 5th spot on 38pts include a 3 time top list entrant Grumpy8, Slug and wazamac who must have left the tractor at home and bought the car.

The NAGA was hotly contested this month with some very low scores.
Dotty takes the honors with 12pts slightly on default through injury but earns the title for honesty in handing the card in with all wipes on the back nine after pulling a muscle mid round and walking it out with the group for the day.
Simmsy ties in with Monsta on 17pts in 2nd spot.
If you had more than 20pts you don't make the bottom 5 this month.
