My lowest handicap was 4 years ago when I got down to 3.3. I could almost play back then.... hahaha

    The tractor thread?

My best flag is about to tumble off the end of my golflink, so my brief stay in this thread is about to come to an end.

Top stuff Matt by the way. 40 points off 2 is next level banditry.

I'm currently at my lowest mental threshold and care factor for golf. Does this count?

Current situation shows that there is always that little bit lower. Apparently that's a good thing.

I think it’s pretty good , considering I have quit Golf in despair 3 times because of a chronic snaphook and gave up last year because of a dodgy back ( what would doctors know). Don’t think I am awesome tho , am sure shite will hit the fan soon

Ultra conservative diagnosis, problem is supposedly degenerative and incurable, had to stop playing to get problems to calm down , doctors view was Golf was probably aggravating it so maybe I shouldn’t play anymore . Physio reckoned I could play if I was careful .Seems I have got lucky so far , if it acts up and goes bad then I end up looking like the hunchback in the horror movies and or getting cut open and having the growths scraped off my vertebrae.

Dropped 1.7 strokes after my freakish round on the weekend, now off 14.2.

I didn't think it was very realistic that i'd be able to get that low by the end of the year, let alone 2 months into the year.

Had my best flag drop off on Sunday replaced it with a 6.9 so minimised the damaged to .1 so out to 6.9 . With more flags dropping off I think 6.8 might be it . Still working on my short game , would like to be 60 and playing off 6 . Have 7 months to make it happen.

New around here, and just hit my lowest so I thought I'd drop by. Been playing for 12 months now, following a 20 year hiatus, where my lowest was 12-point-something under the old system.

Now at 10.5, down from circa 15 only 6 months ago. Gone sub-80 for 5 out of last 6 rounds, and no flags coming off for 7 weeks, so real chance to hit singles for first time ever.....if someone else would come and chip/putt for me...?

Yep - I need to work on convincing someone to chip/putt for me...!

    Last round: 8 over, with 10 GIR's, a lost ball, only 2 out of 9 gettable up/downs, and a 3 putt. Within 20 metres of the green I'm a C grader! Aaaaagh!

Well done . An hour a night on the carpet at home working on your putting stroke will fix your problems

8 over again. 11 GIR's, 3 x 3 putts and I don't wanna count missed up/downs. Was 8 over at the turn and then squared the back.

But it got a flag - down another 0.5 to a new PB of 10.0. Singles within grasp, but I need 9.4 - it doesn't count until you play off singles!

A flurry of good scores in the last month has seen me drop over 2 shots to 4.6 (and possibly 0.1 more off after today). That's certainly my lowest under the current system.
