Finally hit my lowest GL Handicap i can remember currently sitting on 12.1 which i think is pretty good for hacker like myself. Lessons start next week so hoping to make single figures by about October. May drop a little more with 2 bigger scores to drop off. Last 2 games have played to a 8.5 and 11.5.

After another decent round yesterday I'm down to a new low of 8.9. It wasn't long ago that I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

Well an average round yesterday but it was another in the 70’s and enough to knock a flag off. Have now come down from 6.4 at Xmas to the equal lowest of 4.4.

    Cheers guys.

You’re right though Matt, it’s largely thanks to Brad Hughes .

Now if I could only keep my head screwed on for 18 FULL holes I might even go a bit deeper.

Nice work, just right on time for the WGHS to kick in and add about .2 back in a couple a days.

Good golf Bush. Just imagine you could be off scratch if you carried all 14. 😉

Well done Bushy. New Vic Champs Gross Fave.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Historical low was 4.1 about 5 or 6 years ago. This morning 6.7. Anyway, this morning I had 43 points for 2 under par which is my best ever round. I shot 59 off the stick!Under the new system I may lose an extra shot for beating my GA hcp by 7 shots. If that plays out I may be off 4.4 this evening. Giddy up.edit: now 4.5

Shot 37 today at Maryborough. Played off 7, seeing a played to 6.6 going in.

7.4 is my new low under the new system (which is 6.9 under the old system). My previous best was 7.3 under the old system.
