Probably would have still been minus 3 if you were off 18

Pic above sums up the farming effort recently. Finally get the hcp out to double digits and looking forward to the continual drift out then go and mess it all up. Last 2 comp games at an old home club as a visitor have seen a 0.2 reduction each game #badfarming. Thankfully it still keeps me on double digits.

This getting one shot for more than half the holes goes alright.

Four weeks out from SA Champs with my highest handicap in 10 years. I'm booked in for an ambrose for Saturday.

Not the way I'm playing at the moment - 14 good holes yesterday but played the first two in +3 and the last two in +5. The tractor was really purring on those last two.

not really following the inference of the thread title, well i think i get it but I dont know who, and might end up being me

i have had 24 rounds in a row with handicap only going up.
only one handicap reduction in last 40 rounds.

this coincides with my home course re-opening, after beeing closed for about 18 months.

when course closed, hcap is 6.5
when course opened after wanderingg for a year 3.6
after 1 year playing exclusively at home 6.9

    Obviously Helensvale is too hard.

Now that I think I'm in for the SA Champs, I can update my handicap story in preparation for some quality farming (or failure to do so).

Current GA is 7.1, but I have 3 no flag rounds in a row before the next flag appears. That day should be my first comp round in SA. I only need 34 points to record a flag round and reduce handicap, but if that isn't achieved I'm likely to go from 7.1 to 7.2.

So, not much to get excited about unless I have a good round. I'm playing Ok, but putting poorly, so it could happen. Either way, I seriously doubt that the red jacket will find itself around my shoulders.

    You're doing it wrong, Jim.

My comp round from last weekend still hasn't gone in, despite two calls from me. Some problem with processing all of the visitor scores apparently. Rude! I need that extra 0.3 or so.

    Warning to all.
If Peppas goes out and gets double bungers then asks to play you for lunch. Your being hustled.

    Next round is a flag
Might have to see if I can squeeze in another round before champs.
It would need to be at my home course as only 1 of my flags is at my home course

Was playing decent today until a thunderstorm rolled in, play was stopped and my group mutually decided to wipe the last 4 holes

28 points FTW, crank that tractor!

A majestic 19 points with 5 wipes using my old handicap today. What’s the NAGA prize for SA champs? Might have to make space in the pool room..
