Fresh clean water has always been one of the Islands biggest issues.
They'd want to start work on that very soon if they're going to be growing grass next year.
Desal Plants are expensive things to run if you can believe the State Government. Not sure how happy the Island residents will be if they get stung in the hip pocket to pay for the running of that Plant?

Speaking of a pipeline, a mate who played Kingscote last week says that the locals told him a pipleline that was laid for the golf course last year sprung a leak so bad, they've spent all of this year digging back up again. Other than that no work's been done there whatsoever.
