Just need to divide the cost by the number of people in the room, a single cost is $125.00 per night. A twin is $70.00 per night per person. A Family room with 3 people is $51.66 per night per person and a Family Room with 4 people is $42.50 per night per person. All bookings (and the rates quoted) include breakfast. There are no reductions for not having breakfast.

I have also booked a conference room for Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. So get your leave forms in and your name down here. Lefty is still treasurer so the Bank Details are the same as last year for your payments.

    In for Super Happy Phoenix!

And on another note, for all those fantastic folks that are organising the various parts, (probably Wayne and Andigold in this instance) am I going to cause a massive head**** if I was to lob up for the Thursday warm up round and subsequent accommodation and pizzas on the Thursday night? Initially I said I was going to be in for golf Fri, Sat, Sun but I can squeeze in the Thursday round if I catch a red eye flight on Wednesday night. Apologies in advance for being such an unorganised ****.

    I know how you feel.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

    Default Accommodation

OK Guys I have put together the rooming list and it appears below. I have also put everybody's costs in there and I'll explain how they are arrived at in a minute. What you can do at anytime (preferably at check in) is pay your balance and ask the receptionist to put your name in the comment section when you do so (please use surnames as that is what is in the bookings. All rooms will have mini bars locked, movies and phones switched off and be set up as "Cash Only" rooms so that items can't be charged at the bar etc. This means that if Courty pays his half ($280) and Lefty his half ($280) on check in then they just walk out Monday morning as there is nothing to pay. I find this works much better with groups as people aren't then saying the other person had all those drinks on the account etc. If you want to turn on the movies or anything just go to reception and pay cash for them beforehand.

All the rooms are $110.00 per night regardless of how many people are in them and then $15.00 per person is added to cover breakfast, regardless of whether you want it or not you will still be charged for it. So a twin room with 2 pax is $140 per night ($70.00 each) A family with 3 pax is $155 per night ($52 each) with 4 pax it is $170 per night ($42.50 each). A full buffet breakfast is included in the rate and is available 6.30 - 10.00 Monday to Friday and 07.00 -11.00 Weekends in the Restaurant.

Monsta & Solarman, you guys have arranged your own room directly with me and I have sent you an individual confirmation with the charges in it. You are welcome to provide a credit card at check in to set up your credit facility and don't have to remain a Cash Only room as there is nobody to dispute charges with (peter_rs and shazza_rs you guys could also do this).

If you need accommodation and your name doesn't appear on the list and you haven't received an individual confirmation from me then contact me ASAP as I will be releasing the remaining rooms on Friday and it is unlikely that we will be able to get any back.

I don’t have real names for the following people. Can you email it to me on andrewg at viewhotels dot com dot au, thanks.

Oh, and after Lefty receives the $200 I sent yesterday I'll have paid $400.

Based on the above info should I just send $70 to him to finalise golf and pay the above-mentioned amount at check in?

    Just transferred $445 Lefty.

If my calculations are correct, that should cover me for golf/prizes Thursday to Sunday and carts for Sat Sun. Let me know if I've ****ed it up and I owe more money.

Count me in for Happy Phoenix too.

Also sent email regarding accomodation andigold.

Question for anyone else here, being a Champs rookie and arriving on the Saturday, what is the usual schedule for a late Saturday tee time?

I would prefer to arrive at the hotel and drop my bag off and then that also frees me up to carpool anyone if needed but need to make sure I don't get caught in any traffic and I want to maximise my short time at the Champs.

we tee off at 12.30 on saturday so not very late......usual schedule, stand around shoot shit, coupla beers, roll a few putts, grab a sanga and tee off or something along those lines . If you want to do a bag drop, you would want to be there by 10am I would think, as that is the approx time I had put down to leave for the course.
