    Default OZgolf AFL SuperCoach league

Have a few parties interested in participating in a SuperCoach league, let me know if you're interested.

Depending on number of entrants I'll set up a 10-team or an 18-team league.

I'm aware of that. You just concentrate on making sure you don't mess up someone else's team.

Was thinking normal, but we could do a draft if enough people wanted.

Or the punters can join 835053, a league with Courty, Lefty, Jerry Springer and myself that is only half full.

You can, but I'll give you 100 bonus points towards your end of season tally if you incorporate it in there somehow instead...

That could be the difference between NAGA and 2nd last! Wait, I guess in this case that should be NASCA.

Is there much difference between Supercoach and the old AFL Dreamteam? Haven't done fantasy footy for a long time.

Lefty tells me the scoring system is a more accurate system of how a player performs.
The overall setup/running of it a basically the same.

Correct. Dreamteam tends to just measure purely output of a player, ie. if X has 20 kicks and 10 handballs it'll be within a 5 point tally pretty much all the time.

SuperCoach measures on player output, but also disposal efficiency, hard ball gets, contested and uncontested possessions etc. Two players may have the exact same stats possession-wise, but could end up 40-50 points apart due to disposal efficiency, impact of possession, scoring assist etc. Many more variables than just trying to pick the top dozen possession getters in each position. Tighter trading rules too, I believe. Supercoach has 30 trades for the season, so it's important to get your starting side right. Too many corrective trades early and you'll be screwed come finals time.

Ashes would want his personal totals to be calculated under Dreamteam stats.

AFL Fantasy has 2 trades per week, The Real DreamTeam incorporates 30 trades as well

Ah, knew one of them had 2 trades a week. That's too damn easy.

SC has two trades a week AS A LIMIT, with 30 IN TOTAL (except the bye rounds where you get 3).

The other just has straight two trades a week for the whole season.
