Just quietly, Im a fan of that.

Getting frustrated is a symptom of having expectations. And you don't ramp up expectations without your game progressing naturally in the first place.

In other words, you're clearly getting better and expecting more from yourself.

After a social round yesterday morning where I finally got my driver under control for the first time in around a month, my expectations this weekend are as high as they have ever been.

To bring it back to the topic, if it doesn't go to plan, I will be signing up to this club immediately haha.

Fell off the wagon today. Two separate incidents. Double club throw (LW and putter straight up in the air) after I hit my second shot left of the green and the ball disappeared. Also bounced my 8 iron on the tee at 18 after pulling it about 20m left after consecutive triples on 15 and 16. Was not in my happy place.

I would like to confess my sin after the weekend. Short par 3 easiest hole on my course I topped one and proceeded to throw my 9 iron that got stuck at the top of a nearby tree. Some carful climbing and a well timed shake the club broke free and headed straight at my face. One lucky catch later and the club was back in my position.

Watched a halfwit with a renowned explosive temper launch a sand wedge at the bunker he just escaped.

He missed the bunker and took a 6 inch gauge out of the green.

If he was a good player, I would understand. But these days he is generally regarded as the clubs biggest wanker and avoided by most.

Can and will swear, but nothing too loud.
If I flubb a greenside pitch, I'll often just drop the wedge where I stand and move onto the putt.
If there's a water hazard nearby, and I've had a shocker, I've been known to offer a "sacrifice to the water gods" by under arming the clearly misbehaving ball into the water hazard.

Checking in for 1 yesterday, had a pretty good round going when I went into a greenside trap on my 15th hole, fell victim to Livos famous rock hard bunker base and drop kicked it across the green, through another bunker, through some trees and out onto the middle of the next fairway over. Couldn't clear the trees and ended up back in the bunker I'd just run through, dropkicked it back into the 1st bunker and before I realised it the club was airborne over the green after the ball. Had to give it plenty of height to clear the 3 I was playing with which included a board member so possibly wasn't the best time to send one.

Finding this happening more as the scores continue to get worse. Not getting much height on the club bounces anymore so the club throwing isn't even that good ATM!I'm lead to believe there was a helicopter or 2 from an ozgolf playing partner although I was not witness to it so it is pure hearsay at this point in time

Trackman should show whether you get more height and bounce with lighter, whippier shafts.

Check out @the_buttsy on instagram. He recently did a tutorial on different styles of club throwing. Very funny and informational. My personal choice is the two handed over head throw. Let's me get plenty of power and distance.
