Much funnier and some really amazing scenes, really good in 3D.

It's a definite for those that love a good sci fi flic.
Great movie. Really fun and they didn't show all the good bits in the previews. I am a big fan of the first one so I guess that helps. Didn't see it in 3-D though

The book is much better. Especially with the blue/red 3D glasses.

Why Him, probably the first James Franco movie that I've actually laughed at and Bryan Cranston is bloody funny in it!

I rewatched Weekend At Bernie's & Weekend At Bernie's 2 along with Cannonball Run 1 & 2 and Gumball Rally the other day when I was layed up in bed.

Great to hear that. Test screen reviews were giving it a 100% rating. Won't see it in 3d either, over the 3d thing (and my daughter gets headaches).

Did you both stay for all 5 send of credit scenes? I already couldn't wait, but now I'm getting excited.

You have to stay until they turn the lights on and the projection stops.

I Origins. Not overly in my wheelhouse but enjoyed it plenty. The odd bit of eye candy didn't hurt either.

I stayed for all 5, they were good, but steadily got lamer as they went through. The soundtrack is a ball tearer.

I liked the 1st don't get me wrong, wouldn't have seen the 2nd if I didn't, but the 2nd kicked its arse.

I actually wonder if the reason they did 5 after credit scenes was to kinda take the piss out of the whole after credit scene craze (which they kinda started). I mean, 5! Really?

Strolling through rear of my my local video store the other night and something caught my eye after all the silliness in the dead thread.

Hired Emmanuel for the minimum 3 hours, and not one scene had Kimberley or Adelaide..

Watched The Magnificent Seven remake and Split yesty. They were reasonable, interesting that Split ties in with Unbreakable and will so again in much stronger fashion in 2019.

I've been very slack on the movie front recently, but have gotten through two in the past couple days.

Tucker and Dale vs. evil. Silly movie, silly concept, but was actually very fun and entertaining. Kind of a cross between Deliverance with the two main characters, Final Destinstion with fun and crazy deaths and Scream, without anything to really scare you.

It actually has an 84% favourable rating on Rotten Tomatoes. If you want to give the brain a rest and have a laugh, this is the flick for you.

Blood Diamond - Absolutely brilliant. DiCaprio is outstanding in this, as he is in most movies.

A very entertaining movie that offers a harsh reminder that parts of our world are really ****ed up.

After reading through this thread again, I've got Sicario, The Martian and Jack Reacher on the agenda for the very near future

Tucker and Dale is great. Watched Blood Diamond a year or so back and it's great. Sicario is very good as long as you read into the deeper moments and overall concept. The Martian is just quality Damon and Jack Reacher was my type of flick. Loved The Equalizer as well.

When you say Jack Reacher, do you mean the first or second one? I enjoyed the first. The second was shit.

    Definitely the first.

    Just watched Gone Baby Gone.

    This was very good.

As much as I don't like Ben Affleck, Casey is quite good in my opinion.

Great moral dilemma near the end of the film.

Time to give the brain a rest for the remainder of the night and watch some UFC.

My wife brought home The Internship on the weekend and I wasn't looking forward to it at all.

Vince Vaughn is fine, Owen Wilson, no chance.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie.

It follows the cookie cutter Hollywood feel good comedy template, but for what it was, I thought it was highly enjoyable. I actually laughed out loud a couple times.

Great movie to sit down with the partner and watch.

    It wasn't too bad.

We watched Logan on the weekend. As a sci-fi\super hero movie fan, I think this was the best X-Men movie in general. The Wolverine movies have improved each time from absolute crap to pretty good. Can't wait to see what the next one is like! Seemed a deeper, more character driven movie.....with slightly more gruesome action than usual. The girl was good - apparently the girl from Stranger Things missed out on this role.

Saw Logan as well, last weekend. Thought it was quite good and the girl was rather lethal. Finally watched The Purge, pretty good and the next two are supposed to be better. Caught The General's Daughter on tv and it was better than i remembered. Travolta's arrogance carried it well. Spectre was pretty good too.
