Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Epic. Loved it. But I'm a Marvel fan boy so that makes sense.

Doesn't take long these days! Will be on Disney+ before we know it.

It's gotta be a special movie to get me into the cinema.

I genuinely don't know whether this thing is the greatest masterpiece or biggest steaming pile of horseshit in history.

I saw it in the cinema and quite enjoyed it because I’m a big fan of the story.

It won’t win any awards, but to me, it was quite fun, even knowing how it all ends.

Sisu was great. John Wick 4 didn't live up to the hype IMO.

Watched Oppenheimer tonight. Left the missus at home (movie too long and nerdy) and sat through 3 hours of non stop history and dialogue; almost like watching a movie in fast forward, it goes very fast so you need to be on your brain game to keep up.

Was very fascinating and you could feel the tension of the atomic bomb scene. A very good movie. 4.5 stars for me

I watched it last night as well. I wasn't fully across many of the historical aspects of the story in advance despite listening to an interview with Oppie beforehand, but was able to follow the story, which can be unusual in a Nolan film. The buildup to the Trinity scene was magnificent.

The first two hours went spectacularly fast and was absolutely intense and amazing. Loved it, and I don't think I blinked once! The last third, albeit a story worth telling, felt like a drag.

'almost like watching a movie in fast forward,'

I described it as listening to a podcast at 1.5 speed.

Agree. I got lost in it at the end, reminded me a bit of The Insider. I did a bit of research this morning and makes more sense now, although looking forward to watching it again a few times once it hits Netflix.

On reflection now would probably say its more 4 rather 4.5 stars. Still though; a great movie

First two hours, close to 5 star. Last hour.... not so much. I wanted it to end so I could watch the second half of the soccer!
