Looking forward to seeing it. The reviewers give it a bit of a hard time bit the public ratings of it are very high. People enjoying it.

My son Kyan is impatiently waiting for "once upon a Deadpool" to come out. A supposed rerelease of Deadpool 2 cut to PG-13 rating. Including Fred Savage reprising his role from Princess bride. I haven't let him watch the original two yet, though all his friends have.

Ignore the critics. The movie is great. I was tentative but it was really enjoyable.

    Indeed it was.

I just wish they had of taken the story a bit further... so much of the story was missed.

Jonathan.. didnt hate it - bit slow in places though.

Predators... also didnt hate... liked the comedy side and it did not take itself seriously.

Mile 22 = the usual stuff

Was not expecting much from Predators - but actually enjoyed it in the end.

BlacKkKlansman - didn't know what to expect. It was more interesting than exciting but wasn't too bad. Fascinating portrayal of the time.

Game Night - Leave your common sense at the door and it isn't a bad little ride at all. McAdams is cute.

Just watched Searching. A normally tired old script uniquely put together and a very enjoyable watch for mine. Had my interest from go to show.

Caught Wolf on FTA a couple of nights ago. So smart setting a Werewolf movie in a corporate office where predatory instinct can be quite the advantage. Great performances by the leads.

They Shall Not Grow Old - jaw dropping. The first time I've ever seen WWI shown as it really was. Not for the squeamish.

The Night Before - probably the most drug addled Christmas movie I've seen but if you can get past all the drug references, there are a few good laughs to be had.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs - Cohen Bros latest. Six Western vignettes, mostly (black), comedies but all typically very dark and poignant. Amazing screenplay and cinematography. The prospector chapter one looked straight out of a 50's matinee.

I haven't watched it for a while, but it gets a start on Foxtel Classics every now and again, and I try to watch it. One of my all-time favourites.

If I remember that it is on, I always make sure to catch the last half hour. Some of the best film-making ever, with almost no dialogue.

It's awesome isn't it Jim. The last 30 minutes or so is indeed brilliant.

Caught Hostage on FTA and it was a worthy watch. Took a couple of scenes to realize it was Ben Foster playing the long haired psycho, convincingly at that.

Movie night with the Mister of War and Finance last week. Another addition for the Griswold thread after she had us go to a Cinema that didn't have it on anymore and having to find another that had a time slot we could make in time.
    Saw Bohemian Rhapsody. Excellent movie

Vantage Point - Not a bad flick. Using the different story lines and then having then collide at the end was quite interesting.

I enjoyed that. Finally saw A Quiet Place. Really impressed with it. The lack of much in the way of a score or speech is almost disconcerting. Just the right length too - any longer than 90mins I think would have been too much.

Caught The Gunman on fta last night. Lowish expectations but quite enjoyed it.

Crash headed the line up last weekend and tho it gets denounced a bit (maybe due to winning best picture) i find it a superb watch. Plenty of top notch acting and quite a bit of irony.

We have just got back from a Cruise and one of the "Movies" on the Ship TV Channel was Robin Williams Doco- Come inside my Mind. Well worth tracking it down. As well as giving you a very intimate look into his life, It gives you an insight into how the Black Dog ended up consuming him.

Took the kids to see Endgame this morning.

Not sure what I think about it to be honest, good movie, quite a few laughs and some great scenes no doubt. Might be easier to discuss my thoughts after everyone else has had a chance to see it though!

Just got back from seeing it. You gotta admire the cojones to have planned out that story over that many movies...
